DBD penalties for DCing in game or server problems.

Hello! i have some questions in regards to the penalty system here. I havent gotten much penalties as i probably DCed like 5 times over 600 hours of playtime however i am curious on how this works.

Lets say i DC 1 game and get 30 second penalty and then 23 hours later i DC again for some unknown reason ( i have never quit on a game ) Do the first 30 second penalty get reinforced so that i get for example 5 minute then 15 minute and so on without them ticking of after 24 hours ?

I heard rumors you get a few " free " Dcs a day is this true or just hearsay?

to make it easier to understand if i am on the 72 hour ban and get another penalty within the 24 hours where i should lose 1 stage do i get a "reinforced 72 hour again that i have to work myself down on? So what i mean to say is that if you get a 72 hour its no point turning on the game for 3 days because if your wive hit the poweroutlet with the vaccum then you get refreshed 72 hours?

How about just don't DC at all. Problem solved.

I've been playing the game since 2018, have now accumulated 4,000 hours in the game and have never had a problem with the DC penalty.

I really wonder what some people are doing wrong here. Maybe try another game? Civilization?

Or just take a look at the shop and buy a few skins, seems to be a big thing in DBD and works well.. lmfao :D

You could always take one for the team and test your theories with your account. ;)

But, seriously, I don't think anyone will be able to tell you the specifics unless they work for BHVR, and I don't think they are going to want to give out too many specifics.

As the commenters above me implied, the whole point is to get you to stop DCing. They don't want you to be a rules lawyer and figure out exactly how many games you can safely dodge…
