What type of map environment would you want added one day

I love urban maps like regular ordinary buildings and environments. I loved re3 with all the different city places you were taken through, loved dead risings 1 mall and 2’s casino, loved MW2 campaign of going through burger town/ neighborhoods and loved battlefield hardlines city maps around all parts like downtown, a neighborhood, cemetery etc. I would love to see a mall added one day. Running past store fronts to do a generator while looping in front of a food court would be so cool. This years map aesthetics were alright my favorite being greenwood square for its movie theatre and parking lots. The dnd one was alright and the Ormand salt mines feels like the thing vibe. RPD, midwhich, haddonfield, even badham are all a visual pleasers. If only trickster got a map of a neon city shame.

Still would like to see Hellshire Penitentiary someday, as well as an expansion to Lèry’s.

The new addition to Ormond tells me it’s possible?

I Want a map on the moon with actual low gravity (like, players fall slower, things floating around etc )

Either a haunted mansion or a more traditional cemetery map (or even the two combined). As excited as I was when Eyrie was first leaked, I hate the design, gameplay, and general aesthetics of that map.

The main thing I want in new DBD maps is more detailed environments. I've been playing Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed and the maps are so much more interesting and eye catching than anything in DBD. I wish I could take the maps in that game, put some generators in them and play dead by daylight instead.

The maps in Spirits Unleashed look like actual places, there's a museum, a courthouse, an arcade, a hospital, a brewery, a prison, etc. The main reason I enjoy playing it is to enjoy the atmosphere and take in all the little details I may have missed before. Just because DBD is a game about repairing generators and escaping or stopping that doesn't mean the maps can't be super detailed and dynamic.

Continuing my obsession with a Control chapter: The Oldest House. A massive office complex in brutalist architecture, probably decorated with the floating bodies of the Hiss-infected. A place not entirely bound by logic, either.

This was my first thought too. I know the Unreal engine can do some pretty wild stuff with changing player orientation, so having a map that twists the floor around into a spiral (or maybe has a non-Euclidean layout like the Ashtray Maze) would be pretty great.

A sewer system like the one in Dark Deception would be pretty fun I think

A water based map. Im still rooting for Rapture as part of a Bioshock-chapter.

I would also like to see another Map for Lerys. Ideally a very open map. In general, I hope that they add maps to all Realms which only feature one map, because this would also weaken Map Offerings and give more variety. You have seen this with Garden of Joy - after they added Greenville, not many Map Offerings are used for this realm anymore.

So actual second maps for Lerys, The Game, Eyrie and Haddonfield would be great, ideally very different from the already existing Maps.

    @Topic:

I want a Map with a huge Lake which is part of the gameplay. I think we are really missing a Map with a huge body of water.

Rapture. Imagine being miles under the surface, barely any light coming in from the outside and the feeling that this could all break at any moment. And just when you seem to have found a place that's a little safer… TOMBSTONE MYERS!

    liminal space styled maps

    Maps that resemble hell

    Red filters

    More red filters

insert the other world from silent hill

Maybe a few maps that have a slight resemblance of old maps in dbd
