Advice on doing Killer Adepts
A while back I did the cross-progression from EG to Steam, and lost all of my achievements, which means that I need to redo all of the adepts as well. Though I have a lot more hours now than I did back then, which means that I verse different lobbies than I did then as well. I usually play 50/50 (survivor & Killer), but I mostly play as Wesker/Nemesis.
So my question is do you have any advice on how to do adept without having to resort to tunneling at some point or slugging the 3rd survivor and finding the 4th, just to prevent them from finding hatch?
The only games where I didn't need to do any of the abovementioned at all were with Nemesis (he used to be my main), Spirit and Dracula. But killers like Trapper and Hag? Like how do you do it while playing as fair as possible? Or is it just not possible?
Please feel free to lmk how you guys have been doing your adepts. Thanks in advance <3

If your MMR is high, I think you have three options:
- Just grind it out until you draw a crappy group of survs (which will happen eventually)
- Play at really off hours where the lobbies are even more of a mixed bag
- Just suck it up and play like a dbag until the task is done
I always try to get adepts the day the killer drops, but that's obviously not an option in your case. Just be glad a 4K gets it done automatically now, it used to be worse.

Persistence above all else, I'd say.

In what?

In the simple sense that you should keep trying using the standards you set for yourself. This is a mental challenge, more than anything.
It's easy to get discouraged by the things the game (and its players) can throw at you. However, if you keep at it, you'll inevitably get better at the killers you're bad with. You can also always consult a few guides if you're really struggling with specific killers.
So, keep at it. You'll get 'em eventually. It might take a while, but that'll make the ultimate victory all the more satisfying.

I won't lie, I played real stinky to get my Legion adept.
This is part of the reason why I haven't adpeted any further Killers since. If you don't want to try hard for it, I would suggest playing until you eventually get matched with a weak enough team (it may take a while, but we all know how iffy the match making can be at times, so probably not as long as you think).

You'd think the abundant hook suicides these days would make killer adepts pretty effortless.

Don't even worry about it just tunnel, proxy, and whatever to get your achievement. That way you can go back to using perks you want and playing how you want without getting frustrated

I think that's unhealthy for the game. Adepts don't have any meaning, especially if they're done without players becoming skilled with the killer in question, instead playing in a toxic fashion just to get something to show up on a small corner of a profile. Having an adept on a killer should be a sign of skill with the killer.

ok but the only other thing would be have like hook 10 times and people would hate that more. If theres an achievement, there is nothing wrong with getting it as efficiently as possible

The easiest method to get a 4k without slugging for it, assuming you downed the third guy and don't know where the fourth is, is having the hatch spawn guaranteed with an offering (in shack or main). Kill the third guy and go to the hatch, close it, and play gates. That's your best chance, and although it depends on survivor perks and the map, it is IMO the most consistent way assuming you are going for adepts and can't stack the odds in your favor with something like No Way Out.

The easiest way is to play sweaty and without mercy.

Don't sweat it. Just play normally and eventually you get it. You will enjoy it more. Also as someone mentioned above, bring hatch offering so you have a control over it.
