Slugging
As we are all aware, slugging is a game mechanic that can be abused to the detriment of a survivor players game experience. So, I have thought of a possible solution, without any suggestion of basekit UB. It could be a terrible, flawed idea but I want to know what you think.
The solution I thought of is that slugging a survivor unnecessarily will provide the survivors with a benefit when they recover or be healed from the dying state.
'for every second you are in the dying state, you gain 1 percent action speed for generators, healing, unhooking and recovering. After recovering from the dying state, the amount of seconds you were slugged will be halved into the amount of seconds you gain this bonus. Example: Slugged for fifty seconds, gain a 50 percent bonus action speed for 25 seconds. Your action speed bonus will not deplete, nor be active if you are in a chase or within 16 metres of a killer. The action speed bonus will also not start counting when you get slugged if a healthy or injured survivor is within 12 metres of your position, you have over 50 percent wiggle progress, you have entered the dying state via a survivor perk or if there are less than 3 generators remaining, thus removing the problem of preventing altruistic plays, dropping a survivor due to a sabotage or lack of hooks, or slugging for pressure when it is most needed in the trial.'

Thank you for this write up and taking the time to do so. I enjoy seeing passion about the game, regardless if I agree or not. Thank you. :)
Aside from numbers, which if this were to ever be a thing, BHVR would tweak of course, this is an interesting idea, but even as much as I dislike slugging in general, I cannot endorse this as is.slugging for pressure when it is most needed in the trial.'
There are absolutely times where the only option, or at the opposing end of the spectrum, the smartest option is to slug. Not listing them, there's a landfill sized amount of reasons and times to slug, and its totally appropriate.
Killers need to be able to slug freely. Complaints I feel are about slugging as the only strat out the gate, and slugging for the 4k.
Both of these result from BHVRs design decisions. Also heard about the humping, etc, but its not relevant to this specifically.
I don't feel killers should be punished for going the most efficient route to win. There are reasons its more efficient to not hook a downed survivor. There are reasons to even pick up a survivor. Slugging is the only option at that point and it needs to remain an option. The abuse is what your aim is, and thats noble. But this: slugging a survivor unnecessarily, what or who defines 'necessary?" As it were, there are a few reasons to slug out the gate, to be fair. 4 Flashlights and same skin Blendettes switching at the last second in lobby? Oh yeah.. definitely not picking anyone up lol. That was just an example.
I'd like to see if you could rewrite this with these things in mind, if you so agree. If you disagree, please explain! I'd love to hear. Thanks! :)
Edit: Omg.. I literally just kinda sorta defended slugging. Am.. I becoming a killer?! Is there a spray for that? ……..am I contagious? lol
