Why is new houndmaster chase music back
This is currently on the ptb, why is the metal scratching pipe chase theme back on?!
I sincerely hope this is a bug and gets fixed soon after the ptb
The accordion sounds so much better

I would hope that it is a bug, it's happened before to other killers before so I pray this is actually bugged

Well I haven’t played against her since before the holidays and I only remember it has sounded similar to what was in the clip.

Is it just layer 4 or is it the old layer 1-3 too?
If it's just layer 4 I don't really mind but if it's layer 1-3 as well then please no, the current version on live (8.4.2 + what was on the 8.4.0 PTB) is SO much better

I would assume 1-3 layers would come too since it's part of the new theme

I hope it gets changed back to what it is now then because the other version's instruments didn't sound nearly as good and layer 1 was basically nonexistent. The current version also just flows together more nicely imo

The PTB version has an extra layer of super fast noises. The live version doesn't have any super fast noises.

I hear the difference but it doesn’t sound bad to me, definitely not anything like metal pipe scratching.

It's what it sounds to me, New version just feels a bit repetitive like it was sped up
I just like how action the accordion sounds in my games

I agree - this makes me sad. Not sure why they needed to do this. Apparently it was important. I thought fixing snug would be more of a priority. He still has issues.

I dont understand whats going on. Is the PTB chase music actual live right now or its "back" in the Freddy PTB?

The PTB version definitely has a "is going to give some players headaches, especially if they play as this killer, because they will hear this music over and over"
The Freddy PTB has the wrong version of the chase music, where there is a lot of super fast repetitive noises added to the chase music. The music she has on Live right now is the correct version, that doesn't include any super fast noises.
The main difference is her live music is fine, and her Freddy PTB music is going to cause some people actual real life headaches.

I don't really mind it either way. The bounding percussion is the most important bit of the chase theme IMO.
This does mean that the max range terror radius part is probably being reverted again though which is a bummer. The live release version was way too quiet ingame and not all that interesting to listen to. The current live/original PTB version is peak.
