Stake Out is still a C tier perk though.

Lol dark devotion lasts 20 seconds. Stake out requires 15 seconds in the terror radius to upgrade a good skill check to a great skill check.
Doesn't seem worthwhile to get smacked once for each skill check

does stake out work if killer has ruin and i hit a normal skill check, would it be then considered as great skill check and no gen regression?

sure but a great hex skill check is just no regression
