Are Skull Merchant's Drones Bugged?

I was playing a match of Skull Merchant (because why not) and noticed that half the time I would place a Drone and it was just sit there… and not rotate at all.

I didnt have the Low-Power Mode add-on equipped either, they would just sometimes rotate and sometimes they just wouldnt. Like is this intended? Is there something Im missing here? I do not play Skull Merchant, like at all, I got their Adept when they first released and never touched them since, so I really dont know if this is intended or some sort of bug.

Due to how weak her Drones are at the moment, placing one to just have it sit there and do nothing was basically useless, I couldnt send out another Drone to replace it either of the long Cooldown, and having it be stationary is easy to avoid, I quite literally gain nothing from having them being stationary.

    Yes that happens sometimes, it's a very common bug. It's nothing new, it was already a thing long before she got nerfed.

    There is a really long list of why you should not play Skull Merchant.

    In all seriousness though, it is incredibly unfair that Behavior decided that nerfing her into oblivion was the only solution despite many people paying money for the dlc. Deleting her until they can rework her properly for a year or two is not good business at all.

    Ever since they got unfairly gutted, Ive only seen 1 person play Skull Merchant while I was playing Survivor, so I just wanted to try them for myself since it had been awhile and they were collecting dust.

    I do hope BHVR's rework comes out sooner rather than later, they need it, really bad, because they are just unplayable at the moment with the nerfs paired with the bugs.

    your little late to the party. you have to wait for her rework/reverts before it is any playable. playing skull merchant now is like asking to get bullied. it's on par with current freddy. luckily freddy is little more usable in ptb but it is still similar jazz.

    Yeah, they're still bugged where they won't rotate for some reason. I wanna throw it around a 15-20% chance of it happening, it's quite annoying. There's also a much rarer bug where for whatever reason, a survivor that looks directly at a drone can still get scanned even if the line doesn't pass through them.
