Anything new about Skully?
Just why exactly Skully just got her new best skin and in my opinion one of best killer skins in DBD, while she is in such a garbage state?
I doubt anyone can honestly say she is not the worst killer in DBD at the moment, especially after Freddy rework. Why are devs even wasting resources and creating skins for killer they completely nuked on purpose?

We can blame the management team though. Balance changes and cosmetic changes have to be green-lit from above. Probably.

Yes it is weird timing, but the odd's are probably that the cosmetic's are ready far in advance so they have enough of a time gap to make more. So just unfortunate timing all up.

Depends how strategic and intentional you believe the developers are with every little thing they do.
A lot of people in the thread have shared their opinion that they would not buy the skin because they don't like the killer. That's fair. But I don't think it's safe to assume that everyone with a debit or credit card feels the way we feel about Skull Merchant. If BHVR wanted to separate the noise from the news, it makes sense they could release a cosmetic for a killer that people largely don't like. It would be very valuable data to have to collect a general baseline for how much money you can make from something disliked. Maybe all you need to have good sales on a cosmetic is for it to be a good cosmetic. We will never see their cosmetic sales data, but little pieces can tell little stories over time. Problem is it's too easy to read too much into things that might not be there.

One or two more cosmetics like this and if the rework makes her remotely powerful like even like B tier and I could see SM's pick rate being top 5-6.
It's sad cuz I don't think previous SM was that bad they just had to not give her every status effect in the game. Keep the way drones the way they were but only have claw traps make you broken and oblivious then if you get scanned with a trap on make it fully recharge the battery and that's it.
I feel like BHVR felt like they HAD to give SM a chase power because the community demanded it but the community was 100% wrong here. Everything in SM's lore suggests she stalks her prey and then corners them and her power reflects that. Her power is NOT a chase power and trying to force into being one lead to so many problems. I think the core power leads her to wanting to be a Hag/Wraith hybrid. Lay traps that get you a health state the way Hag's traps can get you that first hit and then when they're weakened get the jump on them like wraith because a lot of SM's cosmetics give cyber ninjas vibes so lean into that power fantasy and make her a killer that requires planning and then striking when the survivor is unaware and weakened. I don't think this is that hard I think BHVR is just terrified of anymore backlash to this character which is unfortunate.

I refuse to buy anything about her while they not give her a decent treatment. They make her with a bad design, bad changes and every people said in her PTB. "delay this chapter and fix her", but not, they released and well, everyone knows what happened after that. So, they intentionaly "kill" her now and MAYBE and noone known when they will make a rework her. So, people shouldnt buy anything for SM until these changes come to the game

Yeah, I am not touching that until her rework. What devs did to her is really pathetic.
