Hound master pirate skin?
She's supposed to be a pirate yet she doesn't resemble one, nor have any pirate themed outfits. Nothing mentions her pirate background except for her backstory.
It's kind of like Jonah and Haddie

If you’re referring to the stereotypical tricorne hat, pirates actually very rarely worse those.

If twins can have one so can the actual pirate killer

Mind, there's still a grand selection of outfits they could give her. It's just not what Disney/Hollywood would have you believe.

Thank you for providing a source. When I say pirate themed cosmetics, I mean any kind. Right now, she suffers from the same problem as Haddie and Jonah(i.e she's a pirate but nothing makes that clear except her backstory).

I would disagree - you can tell her clothes are very much styled as a pirate however I will say I hope we get more outfits for her. I was hoping this tome was gonna be related about her.

I didnt even know Haddie and Jonah are supposed to be pirates wth?!?
I disagree with your view on Houndmaster as the clothes are not that off for a pirate but def agree for Haddie and Jonah. NONE of their cosmetics give me even slight pirate vibes

Haddie is supposed to be a monster/ghost hunter but none of her cosmetics hint towards that. And Jonah is supposed to be a CIA Code breaker but none of his cosmetics hint towards that.

And what exactly is a monster/ghost hunter or a CIA code breaker even supposed to look like?

Most codebreakers wore formal attire.

And Haddie?

Camera on her back as a part of a cosmetic. Have her cosmetics include the kind of equipment that actual ghost hunters have.

With that out of the way, i have a few points to make here about your take.
- It sounds like you want characters to look more generic and stereotypical, while there's nothing wrong with wanting that, it is not a requirement to look that way and imo, it is just rather uninspiring and unoriginal to go for that.
- The formal attire getup sounds more like a secret agent thing than a codebreaker.
- Both Haddie and Jonah already have cosmetics that are close to what you're describing, which is Jonah's Hardboiled outfit + Cyber Investigator outfit and Haddie's Ghost Hunter outfit.

Maybe they're waiting for the tome.

Maybe if she had some rotting zombie pirate cosmetic that turned Snug into a gruesome hellhound, I'd have some interest in playing her.
Or give her a swamp-themed skin with Spanish moss and duckweed that has Snug as a blood-dripping gator. This horror game has existed for how many years and we still don't have gators or sharks, it's an entire genre of bad SyFy movies ignored.

- No. I want their outfits to match their backgrounds. Behavior has made every other character's outfit match their background. For example: The Twins wear raggedy and dirty clothes to indicate that they're peasants from the 17th century. Yui has multiple outfits referencing the fact that she's a street racer. Meg Thompson wears athletic clothing in a lot of outfits to reference her background of being an athlete. I just want cosmetics that reference Houndmaster's background of being a pirate. I don't expect a tricorn, but something a straw hat, which was very common back then.
- You're thinking of black and white suits. When I say formal attire, I'm talking about the kind that actual codebreakers wore, like this:
- My apologies for forgetting about those outfits.
I just want Houndmaster's outfits to match her background instead of the Victorian era.

As long as it's only some outfits and not every outfit, then i don't have a problem with it.

Man the pirate killer needing a pirate skin is peak DbD

additionally to what was already mentioned and acknowledged, Haddie is literally covered in scars to indicate her physical fights. She is also running a Podcast and is psychic. And her cosmetics fit her background very well. Same with Jonah tbh - he is described as more casual and not to be that stereotypical cia agent - more a numbers guy and kinda geeky..
And yeah, as far as I have read, Houndmasters attire is very well fitting for a pirate from the time she is supposed to be from… also she will get other outfits as she is still pretty new..
