Hmm.. 🤔 maybe some kind of shape shifting animal killer? Or creature that takes the shapes of many animals? It could be similar to Dracula changing forms, and that each offer different kinds of pressure. And the map could be an abandoned zoo!
Imagine shifting to a cheetah for speed, or a crow that interacts with all other crows on the map that works like some kind of built in aura reading for a Birds Eye view, and then shifting to a hyena to maul a survivor.
For a very simple answer I think a Jaws chapter would be really cool. The entire map could be half underwater, and all survivors are waist deep. Sharks are cool 🦈3 -

I was thinking earlier today actually that a Jorogumo style killer( half woman half spider)(Japanese yokia) would be cool.

First of all… Ocean killers… Potential underwater map? All horrifying to me, I hate that picture of the giant octopus. Not sure how it would work but if it did I'd be scared for once. Other than that I think a little shop of horrors collaboration/something reminiscent (Carnivorous plant killer) would be cool… Again not sure how it would work but it's a cool idea.

Partially joking, but a shrike. They’re a shockingly good fit.
A distant relative of crows and jays, they have a unique habit across all of the animal kingdom.
They impale their live prey onto spikes, to eat later.

Honestly? It might sound dumb, but I'd really hope for a massive swarm of killer bees. Could be called The Swarm of The Hive.

yeah Jorogumo is in a lot of games. Nioh has a Jorogumo boss fight. It’s a really popular yokia(mythical creature/demon) from Japanese culture. Final fantasy’s take looks super cool. This is what she looks like in Nioh, but honestly I would love to see what BHVR would come up with putting their own spin on it.
obviously she’s scaled up in both the games we played, but I think they could scale her size down and add some interesting power(s) to her. Could use a weapon or make her spider legs a weapon. Spider related thing for power.
Japan has a lot of cool looking yokia from their mythos/folklore that a number of them would be a good fit if they’re just looking for free ideas. There’s a half woman half snake. Year of the snake hint hint, constriction could be a cool attack like they wrap their self around you bite and push you away, or drag you down if you’re going into dying on the ground constricting you. Some new unique animations for that type of killer. Probably would have to rent a snake for body model for animations though, could be fun. Power around poison or something, could possibly lead to a new status effect that mimics what happens to you with plague branded as “poisoned”I’m honestly just spitballing over here what I think can be cool and add some newness or uniqueness within the killer variety. They can make these originals bc the mythos aren’t tied to anything licensed that I know of just a lot of developers with their own takes for their games. If they need any help with animal movement they could probably just reach out to Team Ninja for guidance or consultation since they heavily incorporate that into their game enemies for their Nioh franchise on large and small scales. They’re a B tier company. I imagine they’re polite. Cyber people usually try to help other cyber people. At least the cyber people I know do. Maybe I’m a wishful thinker and assume the best.

I would absolutely love them to add a giant spider killer. I've wanted one adding for years now.
"Last Year" (the now mostly defunct asymmetrical horror game) had a stunning looking one:

- Venom spit for both area denial and infection.
- Web-zip for hinder or reel-in

I would do devious things to have the ability to maul survivors as a dinosaur or dragon. Maybe even something Kaiju inspired. Love a big reptile. They're just objectively the coolest thing ever.
