About a week after new Freddy and yeah
First off I'm on console and I loved playing Freddy before the changes. Now not so much.
The one thing I noticed from going against him is that hardly anyone is using the teleport to gens until endgame and that is allowing easier gate camps. I am not a fan of any killer being able to teleport at endgame because it is supposed to add to the fun of catching them, but there are some boards that gates are extremely far apart and I get that coming from a killers perspective.
There are to many things wrong with playing him on a controller. For instance its LB to change a pallet but if all of a sudden you can teleport to someone it automatically switches and if you don't keep hold of LB it cancels the teleport. That is Not friendly at all and quite frankly adding to much controller working ina. Fast pace game. Same thing goes for the dream snares. My first game I was teleporting all over the place or canceling them because they all had the same button.
I don't like the fact you can't just heal a fellow survivor you have to wake them up first. The ability to use any dream station this is just a time consuming thing in a game that can go sideways at any time.
Dream pallets I still don't understand so they seem a bit useless but look cool. And again for consoles it is hard to switch a pallet so this pretty much useless.
I played a few games trying out his new things and they were just to much. Also my first games was with a squad and thay was a 2k. I couldn't get the hang of him and feel that he is more upgraded for a PC player than controller. My other games I played without the extra stuff and my normal teleporting and it was better.
Dream snares need re worked. They remind of the The Houndmaster, the killer can use it and not be penalized for it and catch up to you. Also on console this with a lot of other similar things that killers have don't have a good directional way.
As a side note I feel the any changes made to any side are based off of the core behaviors of players. Problem being if you have a killer that slugs, camps, and tunnels to work their way up of course they are going to be outmatched by players that have been playing a long time or in an SWF. You need to stop toxic behaviors first and then go for the buffs and nerfs.

Personally my dream "rework" would be to shift him back to how he was on release and give him the dream pallets he has currently.

I didn't know you were programmed to tell the truth.

I don't know what where they cooking with the controls, the amount of button smashing for basic results is soo tedious I can't imagine how annoying it must be on controller.
Try setting pallets up at the start and take your time to activate them when a survivor is getting close to said pallet.

It's unpleasant on controller

This is the reason I haven't bothered to learn Singularity. The controls are to much. Not only that Dracula is the same way and a slip of the thumb your fire goes a separate way.
