Bots in 2v8. What do you think?

We have recieved confirmation that bot-fills are going to be a standard for the upcomming 2v8 mode, making it basically a 2v6.

This is, imo, a huge mistake that will heavily damage the mode, and could be resolved differently.

So...

    It's a bad feature.

    Bad idea. There's a lot of things they could've at least tried before deciding to go with bots. Taking the multiplayer out of a multiplayer game is a pretty nuclear option IMO and I'm surprised more people don't think it's kind of outrageous lol

    if I have to wait in que not 30 but 15 minutes, then 2 bots in a match is not a problem, The problem is deeper, even if the survivors in this mode win 100% of their games, it still won’t help the online, game since the survivors’ side essentially remains unchanged, while the killers’ side gets a completely new gameplay, so in my opinion bhvr needs to stop just pumping survivors with steroids and start thinking deeper
    P.S. I misclicked on It's good they're here. instead of This is a good workaround, but there must be some other feature that will fix this.

    It's sad that they chose the easy, but controversial and potentially damaging solution, when they could have done anything else.

    • The old quick play feature could have been brought back, maybe also with a small iri shard reward for using it, so there is a motivation for it.

    • The 400% BP bonus could have been brought back, and the BP gains in game could be increased.

    • They also could have made it so playing a set amount of survivor matches gives you a priority ticket next time you queue up as killer.

    And so much more could have been done.

    I'll take bots over a prolonged queue time any day, i'll go even further and wish that they implemented bot fill-in for when people DC during loading times as well.

    Yup and they could first try to add new stuff for survivors for example items so bp is useful or more chests. When I played 2vs8 on survivor items were something I missed. Survivors need something if both killers team up agains't them.
