Nostromo has questionable placement. The map just feels “wrong” to play on.

i personally think MacMillian and Autohaven are the best maps to play on both sides. I’ve been playing since 2018 and it’s always been that way as a killer player. Even though I do miss the old maps.

About your list - this is very strange. I think all fathers chapel maps and meat plant are very survivor sided. Some would say Midwich new variant is very killer sided. Coal Tower aswell is the most balanced map in the game so I don’t know how it’s in C tier.

What's the criteria for the list? Balance? Fun?

There’s a couple maps in D tier that I just don’t agree should be that low. Temple, torment creek, and a few others. Just my opinion though.

Temple is annoying for me, I don't like the main building at all. I will admit torment is my favorite corn map but I can't stand the big light.

Criteria is personal overall enjoyment. Not really based on anything technical besides looks and layout.

I can't stand the closed mine shaft loop on Macmillan. Autohaven is so 50/50 for me but I hate the green. Why is it so green?

Meat plant has served me well but what you say is true, many a survivor has tea bagged me at her gates. Gideons is a cruel mistress. I just can't seem to get enough of it, fathers chapel is clown territory + it has Maurice. Not only that but playing blight on that map makes me float. Coal tower isn't D or anything and you might've realized there isn't an f tier. I really don't care what map I play on but coal tower for example makes me sleepy when I'm going up stairs for a decade.

Nostromo is an anti map and I love it. The layout is so strange and it's probably not a good map by any means but I love the circle loop and the steam that comes out in the halls of the ship. something about it truly is charming.

I generally agree then? Greenville is a weird one because the theater is peak and the projector generator is the best generator in the entire game but the rest of the map is too big and has those ridiculous double pallet setups.

Toba in theory should be high up because it's a cool concept but in practice it's just dump random garbage all over a map and call it a day.

Kinda wonder why you hate corn so much? They're not all winners but Thompson House is kinda fun and Abattoir feels like the most balanced map in the game next to Wrecker's Yard.

Also I don't know why people hate Swamp so much. They're BS maps but they're BS for both sides and it's kinda funny. Like a plague screaming all their fountains are trying to leave the map with how on the edges they are while survivors wonder how BHVR thought letting the game spawn two gens on the dock at the same was a good idea is comedy gold. Also swamp main building crows are iconic.

I'm not too fond of the farthest side of Greenville with the statue. The maps length definitely makes it much harder to pressure but more often than not I find survivors setting me up for perfect 3 gens on that map because they insist on working on the far generators first lol.

I agree with that you're saying on Toba but the visual aspect and just how alive the map feels is such a breath of fresh air. It feels like you're in a living organism and it's super unique.

I hate the corn maps mostly because I hate the sun. The best thing they have going for them is the harvesters. Nothing better than lunging at a survivor who thinks they're safe on one of those hay bales lol. This is just a skill issue but I find myself losing people in the corn A LOT and it's irritating. I'd say all of the Coldwind maps are decent EXCEPT FOR rotten fields. That map is straight buns with no sauce.

The swamp is super balanced for the most part I just hate the wonky elevation everywhere. The main buildings are a pain, edge of the map is frustrating and it feels like you're in dirty sink water. Visually the map might be the least appealing out of all of them. I'd take Autohaven goofy gas green over Backwater grey and brown sludge flavor any day. It does seem silly to dislike the uncomfortable color palettes of the maps because it's a horror game the maps obviously aren't supposed to be super comfy or anything but… I just don't want my game to look washed out ya know? I like colors

What on earth were your criteria? This is all over the place.

"Criteria is personal overall enjoyment. Not really based on anything technical besides looks and layout."

That was kind of the point of this post. I know I have… interesting opinions on this game and I figured it would make for a good thread. For a while I genuinely thought Blight and Billy were 2 of the worst killers in the game - playing more of both recently and my opinion has changed drastically but that's just an example.
