yeah at first I was like dang is it my internet? Checks nope. Dang did my annual need renewal? Nope. Just PlayStations network. It’s been wonky af lately.

It certainly seems to be an issue with them going down a lot. I've only had a PS5 since August and this is the 4th time there's been an outage like this.

it’s usually not like this. I’m sure they’ll smooth it out soon. Probably tech/update refreshes. It always brings problems. Downsides of technology gets new tech, mass push, mass outbreak. Tale as old as time.

It always seems to go down at the most inopportune times…

That said, outages are usually nice and brief, and then there isn't another outage for a long while.

Also, Downdetector usually shows if there's a problem with PSN before Sony gets it out, because they rely on user reports. If you ever have a problem with PSN, then check Sony's site and Downdetector. Even if Sony hasn't updated the PSN page yet, Downdetector might already have enough reports to indicate there is a problem.

Yeah its been down since 7:30pm EST. I am bored over here LOL…Last time it went down it took several hours to come back up. This was last year in October which I believe was also on a Friday.
