Why are People DC’ing in 2v8? What!?
I haven’t had a chance to play yet. I’m still on the clock. I’ve been watching multiple people play 2v8, but a lot of the matches have 3 bot players instead of expected 2.
When I played 2v8 the first time, DC’ing never happened. I maybe had 1-2 DC’s the entire night (10+ games) when I played 2v8 the second time. What went wrong? ☹️
I was looking forward to playing after work … 😥

This iteration of 2v8 is probably the worst version tbh, i was excited as well but after a few matches i lost all my excitement.

Because u will face agaisnt Legion - The top 3 disgusting killers to face against, because u face agaisnt wesker with that bizare and boring hug techs and because u face against the nemesis and face against his year bugged tentacle. And of course, u have bots on lobbys now. So, I wont touch this mode as survivor this time, NEVER. Boring as hell

Bots happened. They are atrocious and so far there seems to be at least 1 in every lobby, but more often than, not it's actually 2. Also, legion. I don't think I need to elaborate.

I did wonder if Legion really needed his 8 hits change... it felt like his basic power would be good enough, since it naturally does well with more Survivors.
Against Legion you want to not mend until he's out of power... but having 8 hits makes this last even longer, and as a bonus gives him the power to track down and tunnel survivors fresh off the hook with ease...
Basically him passively existing prevents anyone from mending and holds everyone in stalemate while his teammate just cleans up the injured Survivors...

All of the things that made people like or dislike 2v8 are still there, except with more problems, so unless you were really looking for to play as or against the new killers, its a worse version of the last go around.

I mean you're playing early in the day on a monday, most people are at work or school. everyone else is part time or stay at home I guess? works nights so they are open for the day? idk try this afternoon for less bot after work and school hours.

1v4 survivors already don't know how to deal with a Legion. Now survivors have 2 deadweight Bots to hold them back even more.

The 8 hits thing is a nerf. Instead of getting a down on your 5th hit, you don't get it til the 8th. This increases the likelihood someone will stun him before he gets that far.

I'm assuming Legion and people hoping to get a bot-free lobby (which I've yet to see anyone get)

But getting the down isn't the difficult to deal with part of his power, it's the permanent slowdown he inflicts by constantly forcing people to mend and often having the bodies to mitigate the split apart strategy you should be employing vs. Legion.
Ofc once your injured, other killers like Wesker, Spirit, Blight, Nurse and even Wraith become much greater threats, so his passive of keeping as many of the team injured as possible, the natural slowdown it brings, and the very limited options to prevent him doing it, makes him a fantastic support, and was what made him very strong in the fan made 2vs8 mod years back...
As I say, you shouldn't mend until Legion drops power, and the longer he stays in it, the longer you gave to wait... Legions power in this mode isn't downs, it's his constant harass, slowdown and forcing survivors to remain injured.
I'm not sure how strong he is yet cause it's early days, but Legion was always good in 2vs8 because his ally gets to benefit from all of Legion's strengths, but none of Legions limitations.

Not every killer has bugs helping them. But I'll do my part and switch off of Legion after my next match, if he's gonna be the most popular and lengthen the queue times. That's my concern, not his supposed "boring" gameplay. I think all these new inclusions are super interesting, didn't you think?

I did see what looked like a bot, who wasn't marked as one, slowly walking back and forth between my cage and the gen he was on. So I hope there aren't any 'hidden' bots the devs have included as well.

This time around, I'm just going to unlock the tome rewards and call it a day for playing the Survivor side, since the game play is near identical to previous iterations. Where are the new Survivor classes to play around with?
And yes, it's still no fun to be double teamed by 2 killers who're joined at the hip, no fun to have your aura revealed constantly and very annoying to go second stage because the maps are huge, the cages don't move anymore and so you don't get saved.
On the plus side, performance on Switch is pretty decent, considering how much is going on.
I'm still looking forward to queuing for some Killer games as Legion, but after that I'll be done with the mode. I suspect a lot of other Survivor players are too. Common frustrations haven't been addressed, the bots haven't fixed queue times for Killer and there's no new Survivor content. No wonder players are not feeling it.

No wonder the survivors aren’t having a good time! You begin the match by hearing the DC sound effect from any bots in your lobby. I’m conditioned to hate that sound!

I mean, is it really a surprise? Survivor side is boring and a meat grinder and BHVR literally did nothing for it but punished further by adding bots. It's like severely nerfing the weakest role with least players.

Realistic. DBD dont have player for 2 modes at the same time. Every single time we have 2 modes we have broken MMR, boring matches as hell and every chapter we have more and more bugs. This game is decadent now. Since 2016, this game started to down after Skull Merchant Chapter.

The server(s) were horrendous when I played last night too - Trying to walk towards a gen 10 meters away and constantly getting 'rewinded' back 10 steps. Killers hitting from an eternity away or standing swatting the air repeatedly with nobody near them.
Half the players on the team had their ping showing as '0'. The game was genuinely unplayable.

Worthless bots
Potatoe teammates
Both mend simulator killers
Tunnelling ( I do not care about it on 1 v 4) but both killers doing it is more an issue
Being humped on the ground by killers who need their buddy to help them because they cant get you themselves and is he same ones cry swf bullies or survivor op in 1 v 4 posts cause they actually bad at killer( have a video how I sauced a neme and wesker trying to double team me at least a good 10 seconds if anyone wanna giggle)

I was watching Hens and he was ranting about how he doesn't even want to play 2v8 because of how bad it is to play against Legion. Killer mains like OhTofu were sharing similar sentiments. Adding Legion of all killers when nearly everyone hates to play against them was certainly a choice. For me the real deal breaker is the bots. They're so bad that they single handedly drag the entire experience down. I could MAYBE deal with them if they were actually competent.
