Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

No way this game, especially 2v8 is not survivor sided.

+250% bonus for survivors, nothing for the Killer. Regular play all Killers face anymore is overpowered SWF teams. I'm about done.

The BP incentive is there to get people to play survivor because no one wants to play that role. Thats why killer queue times are so long. Also a BP incentive has nothing to do with whether something is survivor sided. It means there’s a lack of people playing that role.

Youre also probably facing a lot of full SWFs in 2v8 because if you don’t load in with 8 people you’re basically getting 2 bots per match making it a 2v6 and no one wants to play with bots. So they’re getting a full squad together to dodge the bots.

The BP incentive is purely to help find players in the role that is needed most. In this case, it's because they need more survivors. It has nothing to do with favouritism.

Yeah, keep telling yourself that. Even in normal play is always a 100% bonus for survivors.

It's true. Almost every time I lose, it was an obvious SWF. The problem is every time I get on, I face almost exclusively SWF. See the correlation? They don't play that well either. It's advantage over skill. I can just list off misplay after misplay they make as I play, giving me really good chases and gen pressure for free, and they still have multiple people get out all the time.

You'll see how the handholding majorly boosts bad players too, especially in 2v8. If you or your killer teammate is even slightly inefficient or makes a mistake, game's over. The players who couldn't play for nothing walk right out the exits, because you had 5-7 minutes to get 24 cages. And then the herbs give free heals and cage states.

I've seen a lot of content creators doing this (playing with their chat or with content creator friends).

It's funny to see some Fog Whisperers SWFing up for 2V8, when their job is to promote the game and even they don't want to queue with the bots, you know BHVR messed up this time.

Or or... hear me out... they want to interact with their community, like they have been doing with the last 2 events.

Im not sure the lack of survivors or incentive has anything to do with being 1 sided. I think it's that people have realised just how boring survivor is. Sitting on a gen for ages pressing a button now n then. Going in a circle looping the killer then move to new pallet and repeat. Every survivor is the same, only the perks change anything. Swf has the appeal of friends playing together but solo is very boring.

Killers have a variety of different killers with different powers, they are always (or should be) chasing someone. Killer is generally more fun and engaging. So it doesn't surprise me why there is more incentive bonus for survivors.

While I'm sure that some people did before, why all the denial that there's a significant number of people who don't want to play with these garbage bots in their PvP games? As a survivor, they're infuriating to play with. I've heard complaints from killers too. They've absolutely decreased any interest or excitement I have towards 2v6+2 if this is the future of it.

I aint denying anything, its just a little out there to say that streamers are doing open lobbies only because of bots

I wouldn't say it's the only reason, but I also don't see too many of them playing solo. If the mode was enjoyable for Survivor this time around, they would probably play more Solo Q 2V8 games. But it's not, so they won't. I've even seen a few brave the huge Killer queues, which they hardly ever did last time (though to be fair they are shorter, with a 10-15 minute wait in my experience. Still, that's a long time to expect your chat to watch nothing much happening).

It's either SWFing with their community / friends or they've already gone back to 1V4. So maybe, just maybe, 2V8 Survivor isn't as fun in version 3.
