I am once again asking for improved ultrawide support for DBD

Ever since I bought an ultrawide monitor a little over a year ago by DBD playtime has plummeted, even though I enjoy this game a lot, not being able to use my whole monitor for it makes me want to play a plethora of other games that fully support ultrawide. It's really crazy that a game as big as this has such lackluster support for ultrawide players. Of course forced aspect ratio can be disabled to have no black bars but doing so massively zooms in the camera.

Ultrawide monitors are getting more popular every year. The only reason I still give the game the time of day is because I'm a long time player from before I made the switch to ultrawide, but if I were a new player buying the game in 2025 the poor ultrawide support would turn me away pretty much instantly and I would refund it.

    This is done to ensure that you do not gain an advantage over other players. 4:3 resolution was removed for the same reason.
