It's funny how DS and Self Care are due to be nerfed around September just before Hide or Die is out

Sorry for the long post title but I find it very funny all things considered. Hide or Die is the next big contender for the asymmetric horror game throne and it's coming out in October. But here DbD is, constantly bogged down by terrible balance, and the big cancer perk that everyone points out saying "This is why the balance is bad." DS is finally oh finally going to be nerfed just before Hide or Die is out.

A little sus you have to admit. Personally, DS should be at the top of the board, highlighted and underlined multiple times over, as the big balance-related issue that needs to be addressed. It shouldn't wait until a mid-chapter patch or the next big content patch with a new Killer/Survivor pair. It should be hot patched ASAP, no bullshit waiting so long as it's functional and doesn't crash the game or anything, it should take absolute priority. Then finally Killers can breathe sigh a relief while singing "Ding dong the ######### is finally dead."

There was a major balance change when F13 was about to be released as well. More of a coincidence than anything. You have to be pretty suspicious to think that they time their balance updates to the release of other games.

In case you and others with similar conspiracy theories hadn't noticed, the game has been improving considerably ever since the devs bought back all rights from their publisher. It's almost like the publisher was the one holding them back.

The pallet change, another big complaint for months, was released fairly recently, yet coincided with nothing, almost like the events you're describing are not correlated.

PS: The last "big contender for the asymmetric horror game throne" was Friday the 13th, and it lost roughly 85% of its peak players in the first two months. It's been quickly dying off ever since.

It's funny the way the game has evolved over the last 2 years. Here's what I mean....the new perk, "Bamboozled" is all we would have needed. No seriously.....just make it innate to a killer, and no other changes were needed.

Now, of course, with additions more "balancing" would need adjusted....but the game is now so far away from what it was, it's not the same game at all.

You notice how it's always a weekday when they push out a patch?

It must be a conspiracy against those with day jobs!
