Doing generators are boring

especially when you are playing solo with a bunch of strangers

NO ONE EVER DOES A GENERATOR, so it's up to me to be the Gen jockey and do ALL the Gens

So i'm just crouching there, hands on the generator

EXPOSED TO THE KILLER WHILE EVERYONE ELSE IS HIDING AND BEING IMMERSIVE

and it's just not fair you know? why does the most productive person have to be found by the killer first? and get chased first?

IT'S BEEN 15 MINUTES, SUSAN, GO DO GENS ALREADY

and can we talk about how doing Generators are so boring? like you just sit there doing nothing, hand holding a key, waiting for a skill check to appear

and every time I see a hex ruin, I just want to kermit unbirth, isn't life of a Gen jockey hard enough already?

A person working on a gen is more of a threat than someone afraid in a corner. Bond is a nice perk, especially with randoms. Let's you know what people are doing. It's good information. You can use the perk to see people hiding and go over to get them to follow you to a gen or just follow them around.

No it's your loss too when you die and depip because nobody was doing anything, had a match where I ran a LF in Haddonfield for literally 15 minutes and two other survivors in the match did nothing the whole time but hide in lockers, 1 gen was all we needed done in 15 minutes no ruin or anything but we all died because when I got caught the other two sandbagged eachother trying to get the hatch and both died.... Solo survivor in a nutshell

So you're the first person getting found? That suggests you're still in the beginning of the match, which means nobody is as productive yet. Give people time to walk over to a generator and start fixing it.

Jokes aside, I usually am the gen jockey too. People refuse to work with ruin while I find it doable. It's just how it is really, I'm not as bothered. Nobody working on generators is even more annoying and boring.

Randoms are never productive anyway , if they aren't DC for some stupid reason they're hiding waiting on the hatch even with everyone alive , it's extremely rare to have a solo match where they actually do something with less than 3 gens left

Getting chased is the most fun part of DbD for majority of survivors who have a lot of experience and are good at it (idk, 200ish hours?). Nonne is enjoying holding M1.

You don't have to do all the gens, you do 2 gens and escape via hatch.

If you finish 2 gens without any other gens popping, never touch a gen again. You got 3 incompetent teammates, make sure to get hatch and move on.

Them never being useful is false and unfair to say. Playing with random people can go turn good just like it can turn bad. The only thing with playing with friends is that you already know what each person will do and that makes it more optimized.
