Map inconsistency
I'm sure it's universally accepted that badham preschool is one of the most survivor sided realms in the game, containing piles of pallets, three strong buildings, and a main building that's a near infinite for 110 killers. My question is, why is this realm allowed to stay in the state it's in, while other realms like coldwind farm and haddonfield have been nerfed to the ground, containing very little to work with and massive deadzones? And how are these maps able to stay in their state too? I'm not saying every map has to be mega-balanced, killer sided, survivor sided or whatever, I just find the inconsistency between realms bizarre.
Can anyone explain?

I would think that because it takes a lot of work and it is not a priority. Many maps have become very killer sided and it is okay to have some that aren't in the same way not every killer or perk has to be meta

Yeah it’s probably the most unbalanced map in the game right now. And with the Freddy rework it would’ve been the perfect time to do so.
I imagine map reworks take a lot of effort (which is why we still haven’t gotten that Swamp redesign) so it’s probably not a priority right now, especially with the focus on the upcoming health updates and Skull Merchant needing reworks every 5 minutes. And since there is five versions of it (why??) it would probably take more effort than most other maps to rework as well.

during the dev q&a during the summer a question about map balancing was asked and they said their next maps they plan on visiting were badham (they specifically said with a focus on main building), garden of joy, midwich and swamp. Midwich got touched up during the summer with the castlevania release but I’m surprised when Freddy got reworked last month that they didn’t touch badham either. The only changes given to badham was in 8.3 where they added a window in the 2 story house next to the gen but then removed it a week later even though it technically nerfed the building since one of the breakable walls from downstairs was removed along with a window. Honestly with the way recent map updates/reworks come out and the way they seem to heavily side towards killers (haddonfield, rancid abattoir, borgo) I’m not as concerned about the wait time for these updates since the reason survivors love to send themselves there is not only because the maps blatantly side to them, but also because they know rng won’t kick bite them in their ass as much as the other maps in this game(haddonfield spawning only 8 pallets, DDS spawning a nasty 3 gen on gallows side, coldwind farm having those new awful maze tiles that are the same weight as jungle gyms).

They've cancelled the swamp rework like 3 times now. I hope that when it's finally released, they don't just add a swamp equivalent of the teepee loop from coldwind for every loop.
