Game freezing/not responding when loading on launch or when loading into a match or into the menu.

Entire game freezes or is not responding when launching or loading into or from a match. Issue started happening more and more frequently with each update starting from doomed course.
It happens every other match and I spent like an hour each time I play dbd on just closing and relaunching the game over and over again.
It often freezes on the last frame before the loading screen finishes but not always.

    Redownloading, moving the game to a different disc, verifying game files, nothing works.
    I have the game on Epic Games by the way.
