New killers to DBD
Behavior should add more interesting killers. That is horror.
Horror Franchises like Pennywise and Slenderman should be added to the game. I feel that these huge franchises in the horror communities would be well-received in the game. BEcause in the early years of DBD people were already modding characters like slender and pennywise in the game, so wouldn't make sense to add them?

Pennywise was at one point in the works, if I remember correctly, but it never got finished because of licensing issues.
Slenderman though? It could be a really good chapter.

One can dream. I would love to see both of them in the game of course. Anything is possible. I never thought I would see the day honestly where "Ringu" came to the game. Such an amazing character to add, very spooky. I definitely want to see more horror for sure.

Pennywise was never in the works, bhvr tried way back in 2017-18 to contact Stephen King to get IT into DBD, he turned them down however, same way how after the last attempts at doing video game adaptations of his work between 1985 to 1994, he has turned down further attempts at video game adaptations of his work from any and all.

I can't believe BHVR didn't think of this already!

I can already hear the pennywise chase theme already

"Pennywise and many other characters of Stephen King are interesting. I once read an article where the BHV dev said that they really wanted characters from Stephen King, but it would probably be difficult because Stephen King has openly stated that he dislikes video games."

I personally don't want them to add pennywise. I used to love the IT movies but after reading the book the disgusting and unhinged thing he wrote into the sewer part about the children is just awfully heinous. I can't support that franchise as a whole and lost a lot of respect for stephen king for that

That's such a shame, I really hope he decides to reconsider and come to release that video games are just as good, if not better, than a lot of other media for storytelling and character development.
