Just had a dude in Taiwan play with over 200 ping. Had another huntress from Europe with ping in the hundreds as well. I regularly get French people with ping in the 200 range. I'm on the East Coast of the US.

For god sakes can we get something to curb VPN and high ping players? it ruins it for everyone. Make a max ping limit or something. I know companies are able to block known VPN servers. Do that.

I have a VPN but I use servers in my region and with it on my ping is never above 80, even then I turn it off when I play DBD. I don't change entire continents to play a game. I am so tired of being hit from another zipcode because a killer has insane ping or trying to hit a survivor that is skipping around because of their ping.

    Just had: back to back to back. A VPN killer from poland (wraith), VPN killer from mexico (very toxic spirit), and a VPN killer from Bulgaria (huntress). The pings from these VPN are absolutely frustrating. Had 2 dudes leave right off the bad with the wraith the ping was so bad.

    PLEASE get a VPN blocker in this game or something.

    The US and Mexico are in the same server regions, not sure why you would think they're VPN and not just a low ping player.

    Thats definitely interesting. I also play on the east coast and i very rarely have killers over 80 ping. Have you tried changing your server region slightly? there's a couple servers on the east coast you can use and it should affect your ping too much. Im on the Pittsburgh server on steam and have no issues. If this is a more persistent issue than ive encountered, it would definitely be worth finding a solution. That being said, thats probably easier said than done

    To be fair there is pretty much nothing in this game that can give you a higher advantage on killer than high ping.

    Yeah dude it happens very frequently for me. could be the time I play the game as its usually between 12am and 3am (late shift worker). But ill give it a shot on switching to another server.

    well i would assume theyd connect to either the south American server or the west coast servers and the Europeans would connect to the European servers.
