2v8: 10 gens instead of 8 in 2v8 4.0 ?

I start to think that the amount of gens you need to finish in 2v8 should be 10 instead of 8.

I mean, we doubled the survivors, we doubled the killers, we doubled the map size, we doubled the pallets. Why not the gens?

Before someone complains: I played 2v8 pretty much and that equally on both sides. I usually escape with at least 4 or 5 mates / in 7-8 out of 10 matches. That's a much higher escape rate than you have in 1v4. And on the other side I think I'm pretty decent as killer. I have 7.5k hours of playtime in DbD btw. I did some 8ks with my partners and I can deal with the size of the map and the amount of pallets but the gen speed is insane, even if you play pretty good and kill survivors in less than 20-30 seconds on average. But it's hard to patrol 7 gens (is it 7?) when only one gen is left and while you can't talk to your team mate.

And the survivor role became even easier in 2v8 3.0 Resident Evil with the green and especially the yellow herb which gifts you back a full hookstage (while they seem pretty useless for killers). I don't think the yellow ones are OP because they're pretty rare but it can make a huge difference if a survivor is dead on hook or not. It's much stronger than the perk Shoulder the Burden. And it's hard to keep in mind which survivors out of 8 you have already caged.

In summary I had hardly survivor matches I had to sweat. On the killer side it seemed different.
