Knock out changes
This is the first time I am writing a post like this but -

That perk has needed a change for far too long. It has never been a healthy perk to have in the game.
My one slight concern about the change is survivors being penalized for dropping a "god pallet" because they cannot loop those. The whole point of god pallets is the killer has to break it and you make distance, but now you get penalized for dropping a god pallet and making distance by being hindered. That is my only concern with the current change but I still like this version of KO a million times better than what it is current day.

It became a healthy perk when hooking became unviable. Now they'll just have to go back to tunneling, and hoping that's enough.
I doubt the new version of the perk is gonna take off, but I could be wrong. Survivors just move so fast compared to the killer, the slowdown will probably hardly matter.

It was never a healthy perk and by claiming it was, as Scott Jund says, "is a self report that you needed to beat up new players and solo q players."

It tools years to finally change a perk on the killer used solely for griefing.
Now, survivors are punished for using their only deterrent against killers.

I do not disagree with this at all. I like the idea of it but I do not think it was fully thought out because yes it is going to cause issues against certain killers and literally punish survivors for using god pallets. I hope it does not go live the way it is.
Honestly, I would have been fine with them mostly keeping KO the way it was, extend the slowdown on recovery and crawl speed and maybe make the aura block 5 seconds that way killers can use it to try and prevent flashlight saves which is what it was MEANT to be used for but it doesn't kill solo q when the aura is only blocked for a few seconds.
