Idea to help mitigate peoples issues with map offerings

Its no secret to anyone that has spent a decent amount of time on the forums that most people dislike map offerings, mainly due to certain maps been poorly balanced. Some people have suggested to remove map offerings entirely but this will most likely never happen.

The solution that I propose is one that already exists in game, the sacrificial ward, but I believe that it is ineffective at its job for 3 reasons.

Reason 1 is is rarity, The main reason they are rare is because they are a green rarity addon, for reference the green rarity offering pool consists of 36 other rare offerings. The bloated nature of the green rarity offering pool limits the number of sacrificial wards a player will receive. To counter this issue I suggest that sacrificial wards should be turned into brown rarity offerings. This change will lead to more sacrificial wards been available in the players inventory as there is only 16 brown offerings for it to compete with.

Reason 2 is the fact that even if a sacrificial ward is played against a map offering there is still a chance for the map to be selected naturally. I feel that a sacrificial ward should remove the map from rotation because the ward is always consumed regardless if a map offering is played, the map showing up despite the ward been in play makes the offering feel wasted.

Reason 3 is the fact that sacrificial wards can be countered by 4 identical map offerings. I think this feature should be removed because not only dose it make a week addon feel weaker, the chances of 4 other people randomly using the same addon outside of a 4 man SWF are next to 0, so the removal of this feature would barely effect the general player base.

I know that the previously listed changes may not fix the poor map design present in certain maps but I believe that these changes may alleviate the communities frustrations with map offerings.

    No one wants to use an offering besides pudding. I think Peanits even said that mori's are being basekit because the moris don't get used enough. No one cares about offerings other than pudding. They can't even use cakes because they just want the BPs for themselves. (jaded sounding I know)

    Nobody likes offerings besides the BP offerings, everything else is basically just used to sweat or unfairly tilt things in your favor. Or, they aren't used at all.

    I dont like having to use sac ward every game instead of BP offerings.

    I shouldnt have to sacrifice my bp gains just to not get hit by map offerings.

    After 3,200 hours the ONLY reason to earn BPs is for map offerings. Its the only "end game content" in DBD and I complete Dailies and Compendium Challenges to earn BPs for Midwich and RPD map offerings. If BHVR takes that away - or reduces the chances to 20% - then what is there to play for? This sounds like a Rockstar Games or Sony Online Entertainment tactic.

    Nah only survivor is allowed to have enjoyable endgame content with p100 spitting out constant bnps, syringes, and styptics. Killers get to have more of the same.

    Sac ward has the same issue as a map offering at the moment. They can be seen by the opposition in loading screen. It a nightly occurrence for me if I bring a map offering or sac ward and the other side being a map offering they will DC in loading screen. Just because they don't want to chance it that might not be their map that gets chosen. It's happened 3 times tonight, it's a regular occurrence every time I play, guaranteed to happen at least a few matches in 1 night and the usual culprit is autohaven.

    Hopefully when offerings are hidden then it would improve things as not long ago I spend couple hours trying to get a match going but every match in about 2 hours resulted in 1 survivor DC in loading screen and the rest of the SWF laughing saying "nope"
