How is the new Knock Out?

Haven't seen anyone mention it and there are zero topics about it on the PTB Forum...

I'm dying to know myself

I messed around with it a bit. Its going to be pretty nice on m1 killers to counter predropping. But unfortunately like anything else, because those killers need to stack slowdown it probably won't help them much.
I'm just hoping that one day they "nerf the addon and buff the basekit" with these gen defense perks like they do killer addons so we can actually have diverse builds.

Not really good, if you have an issue with pallets, Brutal strength is going to work way better for you, while also improving gen kicks.
Knockout takes away 1 meter of distance.
Brutal takes away 1,87 meter of distance.5 -
It isn't really anything spectacular imo tbh. It's okay and can give you a hit sometimes on certain killers but I don't think it's going to be meta or anything. Just an off pick for certain members of the roster. Although I wouldn't ask BHVR to buff it either since it is riding a very fine line between being "okay" and "really strong". If they tweak just one of the numbers too high it could easily break the game.

It's alright.
I think Singularity could use it really well

Singularity makes this perk insane but it will mostly be useless with other killers
make yourself the following question: is new knockout better than rapid brutality? They are both insane on singularity but they activate at different times, and stacking them leaves you very vulnerable gen-pressure wise… so which is going to be the more consistent choice?

Diversity in killer builds that are actually decent? That's against the law.

I feel like the difference THERE is how rapid is mostly for M1 killers while knockout can get use from M2 killers. Being able to catch up quicker as Bubba can be HUGE.

knockout doesn't work if the killer broke the palette, so it's a useless perk for singularity

It's a dead perk.
Knockout's sole purpose was to enable slugging as a tactic. Devs could simply make it so it would have a timed effect on dying survivor, like for the first 30 seconds, neither downed survivor nor other survivors can't see each other's aura unless they are away at 16m, afterwards downed survivor can see other survivors and in 30 seconds knockout effect is gone completely, giving this perk a solid value.
Instead it's a perk almost no-one will use because there are plenty of alternatives. Devs decided to ''counter'' the slugging by making it impossible. If all survivors are slugged, they can now surrender and slugging one or two won't have that much impact anymore because now the downed survivor is visible to everyone.

It’s an okay perk I don’t see myself ever using it tho

Na, we must continue to force killers to stack multiple slowdown perks then complain about said slowdown perks until they get nerfed while the other ones get buffed because nobody uses them, so then instead of using these 2 slowdown perks the killer now uses these other 2 slowdown perks and nothing actually changes.

Has to be really bad or someone would have complained about it. It might be usable on Clown like one invisible purple bottle hitting but they should still reach the next loop? Sounds like it needs to be buffed.

The fact it doesn't work on broken pallets ruins it.

It sounds really good in theory but the effect is pretty mediocre, that along with the condition that it only works if the pallet isn't broken means it's only good on killers that can play around dropped pallets….which isn't a lot. Without extensive testing it's hard to know who it'll benefit the most but my guess? Maybe Houndmaster? She's pretty good at playing around dropped pallets but that's all I can think of at this time.

Dredge, possibly, if it uses the Remnant teleport to force survivors away from loops.

Adding to this, it's decent on Demo, since Pallet Break perks dont apply to Shred, you can zone Survivor, instantly break the Pallet with Shred, and they get hindered from leaving the loop, often resulting in a hit.
Demo was already decent at this, but this perk really benefits them. Though it's probably better to use Brutal on other Killers.

imo it needs a buff; either stronger hinder or longer. Also needs to work if you break the pallet before they move out of range.
