Anti camping doesn’t do anything
I have played about 20 games in a row now and every. Single. One. Had a camping killer even with no gens completed, they would immediately find someone and camp back up just far enough for the bar not to move and sit there. This is a constant problem. Makes me not even want to play if I’m going to be hooked in the first minute of the game and die. I carry a tool box and am ready to do some gens but don’t even get to use it and then lose it. It’s like bass pro had a major camping discount.

Intended play. The only thing anticamp is intended to do is keep people from standing right on the hook, not give you a 100% safe unhook.

well it is anti FACE camp but yet again for the 1000th time someone called it anti camp instead completelly missing what it is . Ressurgence is the ultimate anti camp perk if that's an issue you face .

thanks for mentioning the most paid to win perk out of all of them. I honestly can't think of another perk that gives so much and has to be bought or wait like a moron for the shrine to update.

My best advice just don't play. The game is in a rather poor state. I have had a great time not stressing or getting tired of the same stuff that happens in the game. Just go have fun with something else and ignore this game. I am just coming to the forums to check up on the new complaints for the game is all.

this is literally wrong lol

The bar shouldn't pause if Survivors are near.. BHVR expecting new players to be psychic and know that it pauses the bar ruins the whole mechanic..

They should just delete antifacecamp rather than continuing to pretend it does anything. A bubba stood at 16m can just walk up when he sees a survivor for the instadown. It makes zero difference.

The point is to force campers to sit at a range so that you have a chance to unhook without a guaranteed 1f1

and it fails to do that for any killer that really wants to camp

The intent was not to eliminate camping, only facecamping. The devs already cleared this up a loooooong time ago. Protecting a hook is part of the killer's expected goals, but it comes at a risk vs the reward - zero gen pressure. However, if killers were facecamping, it created little counter play. Now, killers can still camp as intended but creates room for counterplay.

Just it's existance changes killer's behavior… Same for 3-gen feature.
Just because it doesn't get triggered, it doesn't mean it's not doing anything.

X for doubt

If the killer was camping and your team got zero gens done, then that's on your team. If you were the one on hook, maybe they were trolling you. A camping killer provides absolutely zero gen pressure - it's literally free gen progress.
A survivor can be hooked for up to 140 seconds. It takes 90 seconds to do a gen solo without any repair perks or items. If they were first hook and your team bothered to touch gens solo and without repair perks and without toolboxes, they could get 4.5 gens worth of repair. Now let's say it took them about half a minute to all find gens to get on, that's still roughly 4 gens worth of repairs. Either way, that's almost the entire match completed from a single hook camp. Heck, even if it was 2 survivors on gens since 1 survivor is sent to try to unhook, that's still 3 gens worth of repairs - over half of the survivors objectives completed. Imagine if they were using repair perks and items...even more would get done. If anything, a camping killer is a boon to the survivor team - thats a LOT of risk free gen progress.

The designers of the game disagree, and it's their call.
