Kill Switch update: Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Anticamp should be based on pathing distance rather than raw distance

In order to prevent abuse of the anticamp the devs made a feature where vertical distance is considered much greater than actual distance but this creates a problem when there is a hook near an elevated point since the killer can abuse this to camp while either barely affecting or not affecting the meter at all. Hill hooks are notiorious for this issue.

I propose that the anticamp dsitance should instead measure direct walking distance, essentially hte game should calculate the most direct path to the hook using the same system it uses for its AIs pathing (like bots and killer power related NPCs) to create a path towards the hook and measure it's distance.

This would reduce abuse cases where the anti camp can be circumvented while still camping. It's possible that in some cases, like certain ranged attacks or teleporation like the nurses this could still be abused but would still be better than the current system.

If necessary killers with powers that circumvent this could have a separate system designed for them, but that is beyond the scope of what I am suggesting here.

This is a bad idea because it would be too hard for 99% of people to understand. Distance is a much easier thing to get.

There is no scenario where your pathing distance is ever going to be shorter than the raw distance so simply staying x meters away still always works. If anything it is easier to understand than x meters but depending on the height difference between you and the hook the amount of meters is reduced.

After I have seen pathfinding of Snug (HuntMaster), this may not end well.

The killer immediately started doing rounds around the hooked survivor
