Is Blight the king of high mmr?

I swear I will go against a decent variety of killers but the moment I escape ONE game I instantly go against a blight playing like their mother’s life is on the line. I dont understand how I (an average middle of the pack player) get paired up against someone that probably hasn’t lost a game in over 10 matches after just one escape. I’m praying the mmr update coming in phase 2 addresses this.

Playing high MMR without using a mobility killer is just shooting yourself in the foot so it makes sense for you to see Blights more often if that makes sense.

true but I don’t know the last time I seen Billy, nurse, spirit, or Dracula. It seems to only be blight

My assumption is that Blight is more popular than these killers. Probably in terms of fun and mechanically challenging.

Same, really. I see different killers, but if I were to draw up a pie chart, like a full third of it would be sweaty Blights. A third may not sound like a lot, but in a game with like 40 killers, it's pretty remarkable.

I don't think Dracula is that good imo and I consider Blight to be simply more fun to play as than any of those.

Probably about a third of my games within the last week have been Blights, lol. A couple days ago out of 8 games total I had a Trapper, a Wraith, 2 Draculas, and 4 Blights.

I genuinely can't remember the last time I saw a Blight get outed. Every Blight I've encountered over the last 2 or 3 years is running 4 slowdowns and playing like there's a Subway gift card on the line.

High MMR without a high mobility or zoning killer is asking for agony.

True. There’s just not enough time to down survivors and hook them quickly enough when they are all really good at looping, especially if you don’t use the tactics that many survivor players consider “unfun”. You need to have a high mobility killer to stand a chance of applying enough pressure to slow the game down.

honestly i play him because speed in super fun and he just happened to also be very strong .

There are very few killers that can viably function at high mmr. Blight just tends to come out on top, so you're a lot more likely to see them. The rest of the killer roster is just too weak vs experienced survivors who know how to use all the tools available to them.

There's a reason someone got close to 2000 games before someone got out of a gate against his blight!
