Have y’all ever had a falling out with your long time mains but end up playing one you never touched

I used to be a myers and bubba main for a long time but after a while over the months I just get frustrated playing them. Bubba and myers both frustrate the absolute hell out of me because against decent pre running survivors its over. I bought nemesis a long time ago for his perks but I never played him but I started to a couple months ago and I been playing him a lot since. He’s fun doesn’t get countered by everything in existence like bubba and he’s looks so cool with his re3 OG skin. Bubba would pretty much get countered as every vault, every loop/tile and pre running and to me the bad moments playing him outweigh the good sadly. Nemesis chews through pallets, most filler loops are on his side, windows guarantee a hit, and most loops the whip can hit. T and Ls are so easy with nemesis that I don’t even notice I’m playing them since looping it normally against nemesis = dead. With bubba even with bam I would get juiced so much. It felt like with bubba 50% of the maps are awful on him. Nemesis however doesn’t matter because he plays good in indoor and outdoor maps. RPD, the game, lerrys, badham, and eyrie we’re pretty much to me impossible to win as bubba. Not to say you don’t lose as nemesis on there but you have a chance With bubba the game was over before it started. The ghoul looks like he’s going to be cool so hyped to play him next week

I generally swap the killer I main every two to three months. It gets stale playing the same thing over and over again. I usually just go down the roster and choose who I think would be fun.
Now there are killers I used to love but now refuse to play, not because they’re bad but people I associate them with negativity. I used to love clown but stopped because every clown ever camps me or hard tunnels. I refuse to play huntress because of her BS hitboxes. Legion I used to play a lot when the hunk skin released but they’re the most annoying killer to go against so I don’t play them to spare survivor the headache. Chucky I also LOVED to play on release, but chucky’s are notoriously never far from the hook and I don’t wanna associate with that stereotype lol.
The two longest steaks of being a main was with ghostface and spirit. Now I just play spirit when I’m crabby and need a quick win for a challenge or something. I just played her too much and lost the spark. Ghostface I still play a lot because of my jumpscare build but that’s gonna end once the new bs map offerings update hits.

I guess I mained Hag and Deathslinger years back, but after every team I went against somehow knew exactly how to counterplay Hag without fail, and Deathslinger lost everything that made him good (the smaller TR and the quickscope), I dropped them for... I guess the killers that were buffed in 5.3.0.
I had mained Trapper when I first started playing the game, thought I was good with him, and then just lost over and over, because his weakness caught up to mine. With the new buffs the update provided, I started playing him again.
Never really played much Myers, but when they buffed his Vanity Mirror to be basically Scratched Mirror, just with a small terror radius and regular movement speed, I became kind of attached to it. I wanted to see how far I could get playing M1 killer, thinking the add-on would help since it gave me basically wall hacks mid-chase. That experience improved my chase skill like crazy.
Never played much Pig either, but when her add-ons got buffed and she could now have an actual functional dash attack, I wanted to test her out. I quite enjoyed it.
The Plague is always gonna have that issue of the puke being really bad with not hitting survivors you're clearly hitting, and taking forever to fully infect someone without the infection add-ons. But her add-on pass encouraged me to experiment with her, and honestly the Prayer Tablet Fragment joke add-on is not bad. I almost prefer it to normal Plague.
And Blight, especially. Once they reworked Adrenaline Vial to where the turn reduction wasn't as bad, I used it all the time. I tried it with Crow so that the turn reduction didn't matter as much, and of course with the Umbra Salts (because it still kind of needed it). But I remember having so much fun with Adrenaline Vial, actually being able to land rush attacks, and having lots of them. In a rare instance on this game, I exclaimed "I feel strooooong!" after a certain satisfying victory, like that black guy in that DriveTime commercial. | They also buffed Summoning Stone, a really unique add-on that was like a mini Blood Favor but for rush hits only. But I guess they were both "broken" add-ons though, because they've been nerfed into nothingness at this point, and I'll never forgive the devs for that. Some pretty good add-ons ruined by casual complaints and the devs' refusal to nerf Blight's PC turn rate, and instead punish the people using add-ons which doesn't even solve his issues.
Ended this on a somewhat negative note, but this was a good trip down memory lane. We didn't know how good we had it.

Yes, ever since the changes to Trickster and wesker, I pretty much just be doing mostly Vecna. Another who I taken a like to is hag( yes I know many can't stand her) but she's fun to me and she is the oh killer who's reworked music to me is chefs kiss. Sadako as well another chase theme I dig.
I'll be bobbing my head up and down while chasing the survivors or hell jog to it with my dog in RL xd. I hope the future plans for Trickster will be good as all am seeing talk of is skull merchant. All I wish is for wesker power to be on better reduced cool down.

I switch around killers but I could never stop playing Pig. Definitely my most played.

I can't play "web" based killers like Sadako, Dredge or Xenomorph. I feel beholden to object spawn RNG, and sometimes survivors just don't care about it at all and can safely pre run everything. So when they are too aware, I just feel useless.
Coins make me feel bad, man
