I fear legion might be more hated with this upcoming update.

With the buffs that legion is getting it will cause more legion players to commit chases since you can pop feral frenzy, injure them and then cancel your power. Since you move faster and have a shorter recovery now, i fear people will HATE this playstyle. Especially if they run the iridescent button add-on with bamboozle that will make it to where pallets and windows are useless against them regardless of what health state you’re on. I’m not against the Legion buffs since they are laughably bad against any survivor with at least half a braincell but I am worried that this will cause a lot more people to complain and become even more hated and we all know when a killer is too much unanimously complained about they tend to get really harsh nerfs (skull merchant, chucky, xeno)

That add ons needed a long overdue rework, especially when paired with julie's mixtape. Truly boring to play against and essentially is what this update is gonna be doing in add on form

People will complain about anything, once I wanted to try the trapper challenge without perks and of course the survivors took the crow map, they were really bad and constantly running around shack. I made -3, and then listened how strong the trapper is and that I shouldn't have placed traps in the shack because it's OP, so yeah, there will be complaints about anything

Nerf trapper!!! only one bear trap now

I'm really looking forward to trying out the new buffs but yeah, I'm already expecting a backlash. Especially since I don't think there's been much opportunity for a lot of Survivors to give much feedback, since the new Killer (understandably) dominated most of the attention for the PTB.
That said, they really do need a bit of help, especially with the new deep wound nerfs. I do think maybe the buffs might have gone a little too far, particularaly with the power cooldown. Because they now have a bit of anti-loop with the reduced fatigue cooldown, I think scratched ruler has suddenly become one of their best add-ons. But surely it's a good thing that Legion now have a bit more skill expression in learning what loops you can cancel your power at and secure downs? One common complaint is that Legion is "too easy to play" to justify buffing. At least that will be less true if their power has a learning curve.
I guess we'll see if Survivors prefer a chase orientated Legion over the grindy, bring the game to a halt with Thana/Ruin/Dying Light kind of Legion. I'm personally a chase style Legion, even though it's not currently an optimal way to play them, so this update suits my playstyle really well. But even with the buffs, they will still be pretty weak against staying injured, pre-running and splitting the gens, which will probably remain the best way to counter their power. So I'm not sure the buffs will make a huge difference besides making them a lot more fun to play for us Legion mains (I'm not being negative here. There's nothing wrong with making them more enjoyable to play as).
I'm anticipating BHVR reverting some of the buffs if players do complain, so I'm just going to enjoy them while they last.

Eh, they're better in chase but the passive slowdown was a big complaint, and that is getting alleviated pretty significantly.

You can't stop people from throwing a fit.
Oh well.

Trust me, this was how I already played. Survivors still aren't used to Legions who can down people.
"What the heck?! I'm on timeout! You can't stab Me again!"

isnt it how you're supposed to play legion already?

Arguably

I have a feeling they'll feel really oppressive to play against, but at the same time the changes were needed and I'm excited to try them.
It's probably a good idea to bring MFT for the next few weeks to deal with the onslaught of Kanekis and Legions.

I figured that too. It’s time for the MFT meta again😈 gonna get so much value from it with the wave of Kaneki and the legion enjoyers
