Why do we need a RATING SYSTEM!!!

Yes dear DEVELOPERS, I understand that it will be difficult to implement this system because it will take several steps.:

  1. is there any way to facilitate communication between the players in a match?( RESPONSE:Introduction of VOICE CHAT)
  2. Define clear criteria for VICTORY and DEFEAT? (RESPONSE:For survivors, ESCAPE (or for a group of ESCAPEES and THE NUMBER OF ESCAPEES); For murderers, the number of THOSE KILLED or SACRIFICED)
  3. Where can we get the time and resources?(RESPONSE:Set aside THE CHAPTER and release TWO CHAPTERS INSTEAD of THREE, but do it.Explain that this is done for the sake of the players)
  4. Then what are the emblems for?(RESPONSE: Monthly activity.You play actively, you get emblems and at the end you get BLOOD POINTS (and RAINBOW SHARDS for those who get a BONUS BLOOD RANK on the survivor or killer)

Like many players, I understand that pushing back a CHAPTER means losing profits and a potential audience, but understand that you need some motivation to stay longer than once every 3 months.And the RATING SYSTEM will allow you to both attract and deter a NEW AUDIENCE, so it's possible that OLD PLAYERS will return.

1) Special skins that can be obtained (special skins, special colors, or special decorations).

2)The table OF THE BEST PLAYERS

3) A rated BATTLE PASS with UNIQUE REWARDS (price reduction in the blood web, Experience gain for a couple of hours, Prestige jump (which allows you to raise the prestige of the character by 5 levels but without receiving items))

    In general, we will have to work more with this system, because we need not only archives, but also awards for rating. There are more resources, but there is little benefit. Therefore, most likely, we will not see this system.

    Prestige awards are expected soon, and if a special standard skin is offered as a reward for the hundredth prestige, this will also require approval from the owner of the rights to the franchise, which will further slow down development.
    Time is not endless, money is being lost, and the audience is cooling down. So let's think about the possible consequences.

    I'll try and deal with these one at a time. Apologies for the large post as a result.

    Introduction of VOICE CHAT

    Would disadvantage people in regions with a wide variety of languages spoken and groups of people that can't use voice comms without being harassed, the largest group of which being women. It would also require moderation which puts more strain on the BHVR reporting teams, increasing response times. Introduce communication tools everyone can use instead.

    Chapters are a primary way Dead by Daylight makes money. You can explain it to the players, sure, but you would struggle to explain it to shareholders. Hell - I don't envy the job of the person that had to get the three week delays we're in now signed off on. Could you imagine cutting three whole months instead?

    This is an existing system. The Grade System. Just not with Iri Shards.

    The game already has one battle pass grind, why do you want to add a second one?

    By playtime? All you'd end up doing is getting a preview of what afk bots are gonna get banned in the next banwave.

    Sorry, but I really don't see what you're hoping to add to the game with any of this.

    This is not a post. It's just an explanation. I know that adding a rating mode to the weather won't help. Players want to find a way to be motivated. There's an MMR system, but players can't follow it. They don't know if they're getting better.

    As for the voice chat in DBD, let me disagree, because many people can say a couple of phrases in English now.Example:I studied English very poorly at school, but during my time playing games, I learned to say a little bit what I want from my teammate: "Go there", "Go ahead", "follow me", "Do it..." and so on, which depends on the specifics of the game in which I play.

    I may speak broken English, but they understand me.

    There is a problem in the DBD game: players do not always understand who the killer is, what abilities he has. This can lead to confusion and misunderstanding in the game.
    To solve this problem, we suggest adding a voice chat. It will help players to better understand each other and coordinate their actions.
    Right now, the game has a problem with playing alone and in the company of friends. In a solo game, players lack coordination, and assassins play more aggressively when confronted by a group of players who in turn strangle solo players.

    The developers, as promised by them earlier, were supposed to implement voice chat, but they pretend that they did not talk about it. From this we can conclude that the voice chat in the game "League of Legends" will appear earlier than in "Dead by Daylight".

    As I said, those who cannot use the voice chat due to limitations would not benefit from this system at all. So it would help some players.

    The last thing we need is a system to encourage people to play even more toxic//sweaty/competitive than it already is. It's supposed to be a casual game. There's also challenges that innately put your team at a disadvantage. There's also a lot of friendly behaviour (like offering hatch) that would be heavily discouraged if the killer would be shooting themselves in the foot for not going for 4ks every map. I know personally that if survivors have a really rough match or an impossible 3 gen from the get go, I usually let the survivors just have the match. You're asking me to be penalized for giving the survivors a break.

    Frankly speaking, after reading all this about BATTLE PASS, I have to admit that I agree. I also understood the essence of the monitored rating. And, in fact, I said something stupid with my post. However, I'm interested in something else...
    Survivors still complain about maniacs, although the game already has built-in anti-tunnel, anti-camp, and teammate action indicators. But the developers still want to add antitunelle and strengthen the anti-camp.
    The question arises: is the person playing as the maniac an animator entertaining the survivors, or a player playing for more powerful maniacs such as Nyurs, Wesker, Pestilence, Dracula,The Singularity?

    At the moment, I realized that I had made a mistake, but I cannot understand what exactly causes dissatisfaction among those who are commonly called "whiners."
    Strong maniacs will remain as such, and weaker ones will only become objects for bullying.
    The reason that prompted me to write this post is that many players claim that the GHOUL is excessively strong and needs to be weakened, although I have already learned how to successfully resist it in two days.
