Pinhead Leaves the Store THIS FRIDAY

Hellraiser is set to leave Dead by Daylight on April 4th, which is Friday.

Pinhead has been part of the game since I joined. Learning to play around the Cenobite and the box has been an important mechanic for a number of my survior games, and I deeply respect the Cenobite mains who have learned the art of Box triangulation. Just because he's leaving doesn't mean he hasn't made an indelible impact on Dead by Daylight and its community. He's been coming and bemoaning the Entity making him waste good suffering for little over three and a half years.

For fans who haven't bought him yet, he will become unpurchase-able this Friday, which means if you want to get him, you need to do it now (or at least in the next couple days). As someone who regretted missing the Stranger Things DLC before it left the first time, you don't want to miss it because we have no way of knowing when/if it's coming back.

We'll need twenty-one Deathslingers in formal skins for a salute to honor the departed Cenobite leader!

    Always sad to see a license leave.

    Pinhead has certainly been a controversial edition to DbD, and while I can't say I really played him all that much, I really enjoy the Hellraiser franchise and the unique macro-style gameplay the Lament Configuration brought to the table.
