BHVR please call the new Quests System, Rituals instead, Quests makes us sound like an RPG.
I really think you should rename the Quest parts of your new update to Rituals. Consider the following:
Rituals feel like something Survivors and Killers would actually do in-universe—dark, mysterious, and binding. Quests could work, but they lean more into classic fantasy tropes.
Calling them Rituals taps straight into DBD’s lore, while Quests feels like we should be collecting herbs for a village elder. Did you find all 800 pinecones yet?
Ritual System feels immersive and sinister—like you are doing it to prevent the Entity's full control.
Like I get it, you want the system to be fully understood, Quests are fully understood by Gamers everywhere, but its so generic and unfitting. Please reconsider the name before it becomes too common to change it.
Honestly the systems look great and I cant wait to use them, Just don't call them Quests please.
It should just be like: Daily Rituals, Rift Rituals, Event Rituals, Blood Rituals, Winter Rituals, Summer Rituals.

I think they changed it to quests because they want to avoid ambiguity since it's replacing the daily ritual system. They dont want anyone confused that they're a different thing

Rituals is better, I'm not going to lie. Quests makes it feel like I'm playing D&D, and I am NOT a fan of D&D. It makes it sound medieval AF. I thought this was a horror game, and they got me doing Quests. Corny mfs 😂

Could be, its just terrible they are wasting a great thematic opportunity on something people will get confused about anyway.
Like that's the same thing when they changed Ranks to Grade, people still call it Ranks and still think Rank works with MMR.I don't think the solution for these problems need to be in the name. 'Oh we changed the name so you understand it now right?'
Most of my friends who play this, Don't even know what the difference is on most stuff in this game? I doubt they have ever opened the ritual tab, like this is a Videogame the name isn't important really, its the fact that the systems work for players.
And I really doubt the name will have any educational impact on the matter. Because if the system works great and they interact with it Dayli then they will learn through repetition, The Grade system? We dont even see that system, most dont. We only see blood points roll in every 13th. I doubt my friends will know what it is If I asked them.

Please Nancy, You must defeat the Three Goblins in the Huntress's House, the Safety of the Village depends upon it!

i like the idea, more dbd occult terminology is nicer.
we had daily rituals, now we could have something like Rift Rituals, dark rituals, grand rituals, event rituals, blight rituals, blood rituals, lunar rituals, anniversary rituals, winter rituals etc. whatever works. keep it all in the occult theming

This made me laugh more than it should.
It seems every patch takes a bit more of the DBD "Charm" away from the game. It's small, but keeping them referred to as, "Rituals" preserves at least a tiny bit of that flavor that sets DBD apart.
They mentioned recently that a lot of people take a while to even realize they have perks they can use, so maybe this is meant to help make the new players from FNAF have a much easier start in DBD, but this is really a non-issue. A better tutorial in the game that mentions "Hey, don't forget the Rituals system! clip showing where menu is Perform certain Rituals for the Entity to gain favor and earn Blood Points, Shards, and Cosmetics!"
Problem solved and we don't sound like a mobile version of World of Warcraft.
