It's crazy how many MFT users out there..
I've been seeing nothing but MFT in the last week... Some doesn't even bring Endurance Perk LOL
It's lucky I decided to chill and play some weaker Killers in BP event, otherwise my day will be absolutely ruined LOL
Btw how would you rate my Onryo Build? I haven't lost a match with it yet :)
PS: And no, i'm not ultra sweatlord who tunnels and camps, that Jill dies on 6th hooks I think

Now this is the kind of metagaming I can get behind. I prefer WoO and Resilience though personally. Gen rush is the key right now

yeah builds look pretty solid for the most part. Still two bots though 🫣 but at least they choose bot over going next.

No these aren't bots, they quitted the moment I down them both :(
This Surrender System is so flawed
-4 -
mft counters kaneki that's why

FWIW MFT isn't actually that effective vs Kaneki - yes, it does something, but when compared to the effect it has on other killers like Legion or Slinger (or any M1 killer too if they can force Endurance) he's shockingly adept at dealing with it. So I don't mind seeing MFT stacked across the lobby, because that's one perk that isn't one I actively dislike.

The best thing Mft offers imo is squeezing full value out of each pallet as mft let's you greed some crazy pallets. It makes sense since you really don't want to pre drop vs Kaneki you want to treat him like MLO by forcing the stun.
I feel it's overrated, it's really not a Kaneki counter. But it does help in the playstyle that Kaneki demands.
Is it worth the opportunity cost of 1/4th of your build, in a slot that competes with Resilience or WoO? Imo, if you're not comfortable playing unsafe Pallets, it's best to drop MFT for maybe Balanced Landing or maybe even an info perk like Alert or he'll, even something insane like OoO

it’s okay, I don’t mind the bots when they opt out. It’s better than the go nexters that hard doom everyone. They’re a mixed bag(the bots), but at least they’re in match doing things and not quitting on their teammates. So much better than before when killers and survivors were just boofed because someone didn’t want to play or had to go, and that weird situation it created.

Another game… Man I wonder who's really sweating LOL
PS: They messed up really bad by giving me chance to slug everyone, as Onryo LOL :D
-10 -
they weren’t crawling away when slugged were they? No add ons too sheesh. 🤦♀️
-1 -
I mean when the devs release a BS low skill floor killer that is very oppressive and the only slight counter is a perk you best better be sure everyone is gonna run it
10 -
It happened so fast.. I think I slugged everyone like in 1 minute.
Sable was on hook across the map, and I just downed Claudette on the other side. Then when I carry her to hook, Kate's really cocky and keeps running around me, and decided to trade hook with Claudette… When I have 8 stacks of STBFL LOL.
So i downed them both, then I teleported to where Sable was hooked, and Meg was just running to save her. So I quickly down Meg, chase Sable and the game's over LOL.

Honestly I don't think it's really a 'slight' counter in any chance. Kaneki can't down you with his power, so he has to chase around most loops like M1 Killer… that 3% speed boost is really significant when I face it.
Though I admit he can choose to not hit you with power in first place, but then he won't have 3 charges in the game, which is another big loss. I had a game where I can't use power to hit anyone because everyone's bringing MFT :(
-11 -
He doesn't have to chase like an M1 killer though - his sliding & ability to cancel while swinging means that your cooldowns really aren't that long, and you can bodyblock people before they reach a loop/pallet. Also, if someone drops a safe pallet, you can just latch onto them, vault over it, and at the worst force a 50/50 and at best just unga-bunga win the chase. MFT really isn't as impactful against him as you - and a lot of other people, apparently - feel.
In my experience, anyway.

big mistakes on their side still , terrible play. Kate shouldn’t have been testing you and tried to do literally anything else.
-6 -
Well when I play Kaneki against it, I had a very hard time chasing anyone with MFT at loop. Every time they greed the pallet by not dropping it, it adds another two circles to the loop. If they drop it, even if you vault the pallet, they can still make it around the loop with that speed.
Not to mention the speed boost allows them to reach another loop faster.
So I wouldn't say it's not impactful. If it does, no one will bring it, and MFT won't be nerfed in the first place. Speed boost is just good regardless what killer you're up against.
Btw just from the matches I play, I think I lost more games than I won with Kaneki. Maybe I'm just bad, but I had better success with all other killers than Kaneki at the moment.

Apparently I got downvoted for making the best decision I can. I guess slugging is bad in this forum regardless what situation you're facing.
I should give them a chance by not capitalize their mistake, and letting them come back.
BTW, that match ended with just 1 gen left.

No Addon challenge? xD

It’s okay, me too.

Yeah those points looked close.

Purely for arguments sake, can you tell me one other M1 killer that can just… ignore shack like this?
And yes, I know she got stuck on the blood pump, but she wouldn't have made the pallet or window even if she hadn't, plus I messed up and didn't grapple her, which would've reduced distance even further. And I checked - she was using MFT.
It's not that it isn't impactful - because it definitely can have an impact, in fact she used it to great effect on me later by just running around a rock. But when you can just ignore one of the strongest tiles survivors have like this? Let's not pretend like it's a magic silver bullet counter - it really isn't that strong against him in reality.
Edit: Fixed the link (hopefully)

Well not really, I just don't like using add-ons in general haha XD

Plus, Otz latest video has introduced everyone to the potential of Coup De Grâce on Ghoul which makes even more loops redundant. In other words, people REALLY tried to hit back with MFT and thought it was working, and it did. Then we all ended up back where we started with now even fewer options available. I love the Ghoul, I love playing him but overtuned is the perfect word to describe him.

Balanced landing, vigil/calm spirit/lightweight , detectives hunch/small game, fixated/iron will. 😇
Then send the ghouls somewhere with a lot of drops.
