I really don't care if it's intentional or unintentional, generator perk and power interactions not working on blood gens is actually insane. The devs remember they made quite a few killer powers around gen interactions right? RIGHT? As is known from my name, I consider myself a Pig main… unplayable in the event. If the survivors know this, and trust me they do, you can put a helmet on a survivor with 5 gens left to do and the survivors can do all 5 generators before a single helmet's timer starts because blood gens don't count as gens in the event apparently. This is also an issue for survivor because it means that if they do all the blood generators, they're likely not getting a lot of objective points because they don't count as generators. Also blood gens are able to get done way too fast and so many times after a killer kicks a gen, the survivors will just finish it in their face.

The game just not considers blood gens as normal gens, this is why perks, addons, killer powers don't work.
I do agree, some of the perks and killer powers should work on them, it makes no sense (such as Fire up, Piggies traps, Plague, No where to hide, Coup de, undetectable status, etc)
The blood gens are way too quick, on some maps the blood stations are spawning a few m away from a blood gens.

Such a huge oversight. Just another giant sign that BHVr isn't putting any thought or love into these updates anymore.

IMO it should be clear that regression (and -progression) Perks should not work on the Blood Gens, this is totally fine. But other Perks and Killer Powers should work on those, so stuff like Fire Up, Pig Traps, Houndmasters Tracking, etc. should all work, but stuff like PGTW, Pain Res, Deja Vu etc. not.
I would also not say that they are done that quickly, kicking them removes a lot of Progress and it can be quite slow to fill them. It is RNG, some are done rather quickly, but others really take some time to fill.

Ok maybe me saying all of them should is a little far. Although I will say towards how much they take off, it takes off the same percent as a regular gen and you don't need a blood can to stop the regression. So you lose 5%, can stop it immediately, and then get a can. That's also assuming you don't already have a can ready. Also, I don't think the oversight is the physical action of making powers and perks not work on them, I think the oversight is how much that would actually sway the match.

I’m pretty sure I was just talking to you about how poorly the Devs treat Pig and you were defending them. And here they go nerfing her again lmao.
Pig, Plague and Sadako can have their powers significantly hampered by chest offerings and the Drvs think it’s fine and fair.

When it comes to her overall balance I think she's fine, but it's when they do ######### like this for events that just make her feel so bad at times. Like I don't plan on putting any points into her this event because of how badly they butchered her in the name of an "interesting idea for an event."

Some of the things are probably not intended: If you play as Xenomorph, you can't hear blood gens at all, when you under the tunnels, even if they're near completed. They make 0 sounds when you under the tunnels, unlike regular gens.
This one is 100% a bug imo. I don't think it was intended.

Some events have different metas and this time Pigs number is up. I don't think its a big deal, you can pick a different hero or adjust your load out.
Survivors adapt to new metas by altering their loadouts(Fixated) well just have to do the same.
Killers are just tools at the end of the day. You don't have to play just 1 character until the end of time.

As it's only a few weeks long event I doubt there will be any big changes. It's possible they had trouble coding the blood gens to incorporate powers. That said they'll need to fix that for any future event using blood gens.

I think it's intentional because the killer part of the community challenge to reach 500% is to kick the blood gens. So it seems they want that interaction
