Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Do you guys care about feedback?

How has there been such overwhelming negative feedback about blood moon and the offering yesterday and today and we have gotten 0 acknowledgement or communication?

Do you guys even care about our feedback?

I am writing this with respect, but don't you feel this may be … a bit high of an expectation to hold?

How would BHVR succeed under your expectation? Do you really want them to issue an apology about the event?

It is very unlikely that the developers would hotfix requested community changes when game breaking bugs still exist.

There is most likely a business process where feedback is collected over time and used post-mortem to improve the next time.

I still appreciate that you are giving feedback, as it contributes to the success of the community. :)

They do care. I think you all are being way too critical without seeing the whole picture.

I mean anything they say will immediately be torn apart (justified or not up for debate,) instead of subjecting poor community managers to that better to speak when a change is decided on.

To be fair to bhvr I do think the vast majority of them DO care about feedback, but what exactly can the mods, community mangers say beyond we hear you when they have no power to change anything?

The best they can do is collect the data (negativity & the few positives) & pass it on to the powers that be.

The problem then is that right now the forum is overwhelmingly negative towards the event, the ghoul release ect ect (not saying their wrong)

Unless a change of direction is decided & such changes are imminent saying anything just leads to more backlash, I agree changes need to be made & I think most of us agree that they will buff bp for the event (they'll still be complained about)

They will change the ghoul (people will still argue on both sides)

I do think behaviour need better lines of communication though again that has to start from the top & communication for the sake of it doesn't help them or its players.

I imagine those at the very top right now look purely at the data, and that data says Ghoul sales probably exceeded expectations, lots of people are playing, the vocal forum is at it again but as long as numbers stack pretty good job!

Doesn't mean their right, doesn't mean they've nailed their customer strategy despite the best efforts of those on the front lines dealing with us! But it is a corporate reality.

    So tldr

On a personal level I'm sure the community managers, mods & the vast majority of the devs care very much about feedback. But commenting without giving exact timeframe of a change fuels the fires!

But the corporate big bosses have very different objectives, as long as things sell & players play business is business, exact same thing will happen with fnaf & this forum will be in outrage on both sides about the killer, the map & the anniversary event.

They need to prepare Hotfix, they just might not see it. If they saw, or change bloodmoon this will be a such surprise for me!

Yep its hard to make them LISTEN their community. Or feedback. I was surprised when the Ghoul got his old apron in the basekit, by the "mains" calls. This made him such strong overtuned killer, exept his auto aim it was like it is.

If the feedback from users was truly alive, this game would not be so buggy and neglected. How many years did it take to fix the flash grenades that penetrate walls? When will Ada's base kit Iron Will be fixed?

I'm pretty critical of BHVR and … well, everything

But it's been less than a week since his release.

This really is one of the most frustrating things. Simple changes that everyone supports take way too damn long, or they just don’t come at all.

I feel like the issue is that maybe they don't have a hotfix yet. It seems clear they halfbaked this and may not have a hotfix prepared, they may genuinely not have realized this would happen.

Frankly I would suggest we all just play Survivor in the mode, and return to normal mode for actual games. That's what I'm doing. I just want the badges and banners and event stuff, then I'mma dip.

Funny is it's exactly same as last year and we complained about exactly same thing… Never learn I guess

this "event " feels alot more like a PTB then anything . They did make the bp bonus work for both modes whoch is nice . Outside of doing the tome challeneges i won't be playing in the event queue at all. This mode has alot of clear flaws

Just don't play it then? It's not like they can pivot on a dime and change things.

The queue times for killer in this event for me have been abysmal no matter the time of day. The bloodpoint bonus isn't even worth waiting the 5+ minute queues every time
