Why has nobody talked about Oni
Hens recently made a video showing that Oni got a shadow nerf that affects his demon dash.
It’s weird cause on pc it’s a nerf but console was buffed?
Apparently on ps5 and Xbox you can now preform the 180 flick in demon dash on console now? But with a hefty downside if you cancel your demon dash you get a bad slowdown
Can anyone confirm if he feels any different on console after this update

I haven't played in a while but I noticed how painful it was in Hens video. I need to try it out and see how rough things truly are though.

I noticed that when he cancels demon dash it’s a bad slow down.
But console can now actually do the 180 flick? I play console and I need to test this. If true could be amazing cause finally his strength was all about that flick. Sucks for pc yes but console gets the love finally.

I'm not a main Oni but I loved playing him, after changing the flick and adding delays, he feels so awkward that I lost any desire to play him, I don't even know why bhvr nerfs killer and doesn't even notify about it

His 180 barely goes any distance behind you, and your camera movement is capped so you can't flick fast, which make it impossible to avoid colliding into a wall if there was one in front of you.

Basically they removed the "180 flick" but made his actual turn limit 180.

after play testing him on ps5
Holy ######### he actually feels amazing to play with now. Him flicking 180 on a controller feels so much better and more smooth. It actually feels better and not clunky.
The slowdown when canceling demon dash before you actually go is slow but it’s not severe enough to cripple him.
He was literally shadow buffed for console and yet the patch or devs never said anything

I watched @MechWarrior3 play him and I would say he Isa lot better on console now.

It is in the Patch Notes:
The Oni:
- Increased the Demon Strike Attack angle limit to 180 degrees (was 90 degrees)
- Note: This applies to Keyboard & Mouse and Controllers
Before it was only possible to do this on PC, now they changed it to also be available for Console. Which is the right decision.
2 - Increased the Demon Strike Attack angle limit to 180 degrees (was 90 degrees)

Oni feels like he may be bugged, if you demon strike against a wall or anything with collision, he freezes.

Streamlining everything for the sake of console players/FNAFers will eventually kill this game, BHVR.

The alternative would be to restrict it to 90 Degrees for everyone. It was never intended that Oni can do those Flicks on PC. Either they fix all those things which are possible on PC and not on Console so that they are not possible on any platform or they make it possible on any platform. They went with the latter here, which is completely fine.

Chat not available for console does that mean BHVR should disable chat for everyone? Or enable chat for everyone but make it possible to type 1 symbol every 3 seconds because console players can't type faster? Why should PC players suffer because of console limitations?

Super bad argument, but at least you tried. A Chat does not really have any gameplay-relevant implications. Unless you now want to say that Survivors actually talk in the pregame lobby to change their builds. But dont make me laugh too hard.
And no, you did not understand it - it was never intended. That it is not possible on Console is a big sign that it was not intended. And I thought people want exploits and bugs to be fixed? The Devs made it a feature, useable by everyone. Which should be the best outcome.
