Is it just me or…?
I’m getting really tired of the ridiculous speed of the killers and the amount of mobility perks they have. You can’t even outrun more than half the killers in this game making survivors unplayable and very much killing the game.

the game is not designed for the survivors to "outrun" the killer, but to last long enough for their team to make meaningful progress. 99% of killers do not prevent this.

I mostly play killer, and I seriously would love for them to stop giving every new killer some sort of dash or mobility ability and stop trying to balance the game around the assumption that people only play killers with high mobility (which in turns hurts the already weak m1 killers with no mobility).

well next patch they are nerfing haste stacking thankfully and hindered stacking so that should help

Forgot to mention in earlier comment, but just to clear up a misconception - you're never expected to be able to outrun any killers. What you're supposed to do is buy as much time for your teammates until you're eventually caught. That being said, there are some killers that are problematic to even have a chase with such as nurse/ghoul. They need some reworks, but just clarifying that you shouldn't be able to outrun any killers in the longterm reliably - that's where mindgames come in to break off a chase.

I'm afraid it's just you. You're not intended to outrun the Killer, the real purpose of chase is to waste as much time for your team as possible. Both sides are supposed to be able to complete their goal.
In old ancient times DBD, you COULD loop a Killer forever, like, actually forever. No haste required. You were able to loop some structures that were so strong, the Killer literally could not catch you. Bloodlust was created to fix this, haste and hinder were created later, perks were created ton help, tiles were nerfed and maps rebalanced to help. All positive changes for the game.
The idea is you need to use mindgames to shake Killers and break chase. That's on the Survivor to do. Just like for M1 Killers, mindgames are meant to be used to trick Survivors into bad plays and get hits. That's bread and butter Killer play for most Killers actually. M2s chase differently but still play around tiles. Some Killers ignore this entirely and that's problematic.
You were never supposed to break away from Killers for good. It simply was not and isn't fair.

nobody really means to outrun the killer. You’re ridiculous if you think the game is balanced. I use a mobility perk and quick and quiet can loop killers but yet get one shot.

And yet my team only gets one gen done in the matter of three players getting hung twice. Make that make sense.

At least quick enough to not get hit in the first 5 seconds of running or one shot downed. Then have my body camped or hexed the whole game

Yet I must have the worst teammates in every game that I can run a killed through almost every barricade on a map and them only finish one gen. The game is super unbalanced if you can’t see that then the game will die as they add more and more killers with mobility and one shot perks or be able to see you for 30 seconds.

most "one shot" perks require something.
Devour hope is a hex wich can be removed and has to get to 3 stacks
hubris requires pallet stun
friends till the end requires you to be obsession and someone else to be hooked. (you can deny the aura read via lockers)
Haunted ground again is a hex but its a trap card kinda hex.
noed again a hex
Iron maiden, requires you to go into a locker and get out of it
make your choice requires unhook when killer is further then 32 meters away (so usually doesnt get any value)
Rancor only works in endgame
starstruck only work on pickup so if your not a flashlight gremlin this wont affect you
and thats about it. another note you get notified that these perk are in play wich means you can react to them.
