Duty of Care is too strong to be released like this.
Duty of Care is insanely overtuned. Granting a 25% Haste boost to all survivors within 16 meters for up to 6 seconds just because one healthy teammate took a protection hit? That’s absolutely busted, especially in coordinated SWF teams. This perk turns every bodyblock into a full-team escape tool.
If this makes it to live without a nerf, killers are going to suffer even more. This needs to be toned down before release, lower the haste %, reduce the radius, or make it apply to only one survivor. Otherwise, it's just another SWF crutch disguised as a "team perk".
Edit: Wrong worded words

"Solo Queue Killers"? This is a thing now?
It is more like an Anti-Tunnel Perk than anything else.
And even there I would say it can be even buffed a little (but deactivate when being unhooked so that the unhooked Survivor cannot use this).I am stupid and cannot read.4 -
i worded it wrong lol sry for that. gonna fix it!
and no 6 sec for 25% haste? needs to be nerfed asap

It’s 15 seconds of 25% haste btw. It needs to be nerfed into the dirt.
I’ll remind you Hex NBM is a literal Hex perk that is only 5% for 15 seconds
-18 -
A recently unhooked survivor almost always won't be able to use it since it only triggers if the bodyblocking survivor is healthy, so I don't see a reason to deactivate it for unhooked survivors.
5 -
Lmao everything for you is antitunnel at this point. 100% won't be used in SWF just to mess with the killer in their face.
-10 -
A perk that works on survivors that have never been hooked, is anti-tunnel?????

And here yall go, complaing about how the new survivor perks are "TOO OP!!!!111!!!" when in reality they'll be situational *at best*
8 -
True, I kinda skimmed over the part of being healthy. I just thought about that it should not be used by a recently unhooked Survivor so that they cannot bodyblock with Endurance and grant the other Survivors Haste, but you are right, this is not a thing.

Nah, I just know a trash Perk when I see it. It is one of those Perks where Killer players make all the doomed scenarios of Survivors working together and yet you will never see this Perk.
Just stop panicking and I will eat my words when it hits live and becomes a problem. But I know it wont.
9 -
What exactly is a problem here? I dont get it. Just because its haste?
6 -
God forbid survivors can have at least ONE useful perk when a new DLC comes out
7 -
Because it’s a massive 25% haste… for 15 seconds… for everyone within 16m…
If it doesn’t deactivate during endgame this is a free full team escape even if killer is camping a hook and survivors have a small amount of teamplay.
15 seconds at that speed is enough to get most of the way across the map against all but 3/4 of the killer roster.
Compare it to other haste perks to see how high the numbers are in relation.
-3 -
It is NOT 15 seconds, the perk is intended to work for 4/5/6 seconds depending on the perk tier. The game stating 15 seconds is 100% a mistake.

This is blatant P2W, not a good perk. And we all know it will only last about a month.

Very situational perk in solo queue and there are plenty of strong(er) alternatives for squads. It's fine.

Its not 15s. So dont cry a river.
9 -
It's like clockwork.
And all this "it's a swf perk!" stuff when I'm sitting here as an altruistic solo q survivor looking forward to using it to help solo q games feel a bit better
7 -
How is it better than babysitter

that’s much more reasonable if the in game tooltip is in fact incorrect

it's a free endgame escape perk outside of that will be niche i'll use it because i use boons and i can find fun things to do with that

So if a survivor brings two perks, makes it to end game, is not the one on hook, is against a non-insta down killer, is against a killer without high map mobility, has another survivor still alive to take the first hit, then they can escape.
It feels like the investment for that particular circumstance is fine.

Did we all just forget the new killer came with a perk that blocks pallets and windows for a full minute during end game? Seems on par as far as "free" goes.
And this still won't work vs half the roster that outright prevents saves during end game hook camping or any killer with mobility.
4 -
Where does it say 15 seconds of haste? Looks like 6 seconds to me
5 -
the in game tooltip says 15 seconds but apparently it’s wrong
-1 -
i honestly forgot that perk existed and i haven't run into anyone who used it.

Wow, a trash perk you say. A single perk that's basically the pre-nerf FTP/Buckle Up Combo is trash?? You have no idea how strong it can be in right hands.
-2 -
Sure Buddy. We can talk in a few weeks when it hits live and once again does nothing. Like so many Perks with this glorious Forum Killer Tradition to choose one Perk which will be completely busted.
4 -
Just target the person who took the protection hit. I guess it's meant to help with tunneling, but it feels like a pretty weak attempt to address tunneling.

Wow there's 4 gens done and I don't have a kill yet. I need to get someone out of the game immediately to have a chance not to lose. I'm chasing someone on death hook oh but here comes comp Ace who hasn't been hooked who put on the Autohaven key to come running in and bodyblock so my only hope of winning can run off into Narnia. How does chasing the bodyblocker help me win here? Keep in mind the killer is trying to win and isn't here to play fun master for the survivors
-1 -
This perk procing doesn't even exhaust other survivors. You can pair it with Lithe or Balanced and just be across the entire map thanks to one bodyblock

I suppose my approach to playing as the killer differs from that of others.
