Why does Thrilling Tremors remain unchanged?
Does anyone know why this perk never received a change?

Question - why should it receive a change? It is neither too bad or too good, it is a fine Perk.

No one uses it, needs a buff. Make it no cooldown, only can trigger once per survivor down state, increase the blocked duration. Really just a number change so this is a really easy one to implement.

See, some information are nice.
But IMO there are other Perks on both sides which are more in need of a Buff.

Have you seen the speed in which BHVR implements Perk Changes? Or why are you even asking this question?
There are probably 50 Perks which can use a Buff before Thrilling Tremors.

I would imagine because it's always been pretty good.
The only real reason to even consider changing it is that it's unpopular, which means it's not impossible it may happen but it'll probably be a lower priority than perks that are actually bad or undertuned.

what would you change about the perk and how would that effect how it interacts with all of the other perks

Could use a cool down reduction but thats about it.

Yeah, most likely. But it does not need much overall. In general, Thrilling Tremors would not be the first (or one of the ten first…) Killer Perks which would come to my mind if someone would ask me which Killer Perk needs a buff.

I personally use it on almost all of my ghostie builds...mostly for information as to what gens are currently being worked on. It's less useful as gen control, but sometimes I'll down someone, then head towards a nearby gen being worked on to scare them off, then pick up the downed survivor to get it blocked while I take the time to hook the survivor.
I used to do surveillance mixed with PR, but then PR got the dumb token system implemented. Surveillance mixed with surge atm is okay, but its use is limited to what gens are in range of a surge.

It was decent in 2020, maybe. The meta has changed a lot since then and it's pretty terrible these days. I don't remember the last time I've seen it in game.
Gen blocking was pretty niche back in the day outside of Corrupt, but now there's a wide variety of options (Grim, DMS, Deadlock etc.) so Thrilling has been kind of left in the dust.
They need to reduce the cooldown significantly. I'd say 20 seconds is pretty reasonable, the effect would remain the same but it'd be basically guaranteed on every down. It still wouldn't rival the best gen blocking options in the game currently, but it'd be a lot nicer to use.

The perk is absolutely terrible. It attempts to do 2 things and is bad at both of them. The gen blocking is generally pointless for reason that need not be stated and for a duration too low to realistically come into play or have a severe impact if it does.
It does give decent information, but you could have far more precise information with BBQ that works even if they're off gens and doesn't have any cooldown at all, and both have virtually the same activation condition.0 -
Sad truth. Behavior is so incredibly slow at doing perk changes. All the perk changes we will receive in the next 4 years should already been done years ago.
90% of the perk buffs would be so easy to do in no time.

The cooldown should be reduced significantly. Like 20-30 seconds instead of 60

It doesn‘t deserve a cooldown at all. It can‘t block generators on which survivors work and you need to down and pick up a survivor for it. That‘s more than enough conditions.

it's a meh perk you have a lot of other options that you can run that are a better use of a slot

why the once per survivor down state that just guarantees it won't be used if you can use it only 4 times. unless it blocked all gens that weren't worked on for a solid 60 seconds that's an unnecessary nerf

You’re misunderstanding. I didn’t say once per survivor, I said once per down state. That isn’t 4 uses, it’s 12. It activates on all 3 times each survivor is downed. I said that stipulation to prevent dribbling the survivor to get multiple procs per down.
0 -
ah. sorry about that but it's unnecessary wording since once gens are blocked they stay blocked until the duration is over, you couldn't dribble if you wanted to

It lasts 16 seconds. Without that stipulation I could just pick that same survivor I left on the ground up a second time to trigger it again after that 16 second block had ended.

But if you do this multiple times the survivor gets a lot of wiggle progress and generator on which survivors are working on aren’t blocked either way. It makes it only unnecessary complicated like you suggest.

If you added a clause that says you can't reactivate it by dropping and picking up the same survivor again, then the cooldown can be removed

While carrying a survivor all not being worked on generators become blocked. This effect lingers for 16 seconds after hooking a survivor.

well ok.

Except you’re ignoring a slug play style where they wouldn’t care about the wiggle progress. Just leave enough that it doesn’t get them off your shoulder. You’d just use their body for blocks and throw them back down. I would quite literally do exactly that on my slug play style if this were buffed without that.

What do you think of my suggestion? I should have removed all abusable ways.

That works as well. I'd probably bump the numbers up though.
