Improvements to Abandon
Currently, the abandon ability just doesn't come up even when you're the last survivor and downed, but I understand that's a known bug that is going to be fixed. However, there are many situations where you're deliberately abandoned by your teammate and left to bleed for long periods of time, especially in situations where the killer has a mori and simply leaves you be for as long as humanly possible to try bait out the last survivor to only mori you when they don't come out.
Why can't survivors just disconnect during death animations? There's no real solution to the several minute slug, but can't a player just abandon while they're being moried? Why must a player watch the whole hook death animation, you already have the tools to let them abandon and move on.
In the worst case scenarios, it would just be an extra option for players to move on or watch and enjoy the animations. In the best case scenarios, it can save 15 seconds and a heck of a lot of frustration on top of the boredom and salt already built.
Just as camping has gone nowhere, this tool has done the absolute bare minimum to minimize slugging, time wasting, and poor sportsmanship. At least if the tool extended to this too, it would save some time. And in instances where the game was perfectly fine, that's 15-20 seconds shaved off from the death hook animation for streamers or players who want to spectate their teammates who are in tense chases in the end-game following their own deaths. There's literally no downside to having the option, and it aught not be that hard.

The upcoming birds rework would probly force that player out to come help you as they will be revealed constantly if they don't. Lots of changes coming, and they seem to add to the abandon feature whenever as the new ptb has an additon to the feature alredy

That assumes collusion isn't happening between the other final survivor and the killer. It also doesn't take into account AFK survivors, cheaters holding games hostage, other forms of griefing, and other circumstances that ultimately could be avoided with just slightly more generous application of the abandon feature.
Especially with bots being a thing in the game, there's not much reason to not grant it, and otherwise a lot of the problems in the game really aren't being touched on properly. You'll never solve every single problem, but you can at least tackle the obvious and semi-frequent ones.
