This tool is used to punish players who leave the match before it's over. However, sometimes I'm playing and my game freezes and shows that I got disconnected or lost connection. So I come back and have to wait half an hour. It even happened to me once this morning (I waited 30 minutes) and then it happened again in the afternoon. Now I have to wait 6 hours to play again, even though I didn't leave on purpose. I think there should at least be a way to tell the difference between someone who quits on purpose and someone who gets disconnected or loses connection.

    There are people out there who will unplug and plug back in their Ethernet cable to manipulate the system to exit the match. So this could be very abusable

    There's no way for the System to tell if you got disconnected unintentionally or if you pulled the plug yourself. If your internet is unstable and you know you will get penalized for disconnections, perhaps you shouldn't keep trying to rejoin until you figure out your ISP problems.

    There is nothing anyone can do but yourself that can prevent these penalties. I highly recommend looking into your internet problems and see why you keep getting disconnected, and if you are playing on Wifi, you need to switch to an Ethernet Cord as Wifi is the worst thing you can play Games on.
