Bring back old Dead by Daylight
Return old dead hard, decisive strike and killer & survivor gen perks. Revert time based mangled and haemorrhage. Remove basekits. Remove anti-facecamp, anti-gen tapping and anti 3 gen features. Bring back 1st versions of Sadako, Chucky, Freddy, Skull Merchant and Knight. Bring back pre-nerf Deathslinger.
Remove survivor bots. Remove the hook from returning after a survivor is sacrificed on the hook. Remove survivor HUD.
Remove the 6.1.0 buffs and nerfs. Remove 10 seconds extra hook timer.
Make Dead By Daylight Great Again!!!

I have played against old dead hard since 2018. Only grown men want it back.

This game is becoming stale and boring. All the maps are complete deadzones. All the games is nothing but basekit this and that. This game is becoming more and more linear.

I am not saying current DBD is perfect, but I consider it way better than what we had in past.
Even tho some people are definetly against it, soloQ is actually playable now. (could be still better)
There is less outlayers, where result of the game is simply out of your control, because other side decided they want to win more. (will improve even more with map offering nerf)
Top tier killers are way weaker compare to what we had to deal with in past. (also could be improved)

OG Sadako sounds good with some adjustments of course. The other things should come back as event game mode. I want to try dash DH.

I really don't want the first version of the Knight back, specially if it is the live release. As i don't want a lot of the older things in the game back. I like it much more right now that i have to deal with less busted stuff; the rest is just nostalgia.
BHVR could make an "Old Times" server/version for people but i doubt it would be played for long…
PS: When we get a match with 4 Old DH vs Old Spirit with Mother-Daughter Ring and Amulet i think both sides will want to come back to modern day DBD

I would love if they would add separate legacy servers specifically for older versions of DBD. Personally, I would be happy to play during almost any 2019 patches.

An event mode would be neat if they have that back up version.

That'd actually be a good idea to have it as an event modifier, where a bit of fun and wackiness is expected.

agreed. I don’t think we should go back on game progress from that time in today’s dbd. However, I don’t think an event modifier with all the busted things from that time for a limited run would be a huge issue to let people live nostalgia, or experience it how it once was.

A classic mode modifier, like Blizzard did with Overwatch 2, by going back throughout certain metas, from the very beginning (before metas) through the most popular eras of the original game.
I would personally love a mode like this, where it feels like you are stepping back in time.1
