Our community
With FNAF around the corner I am asking the question about why we are toxic. I play both sides and I get some hate for running certain builds. I also want to know where the us VS them mentality comes from. I love dbd but the community needs some changes in thought patterns. If anyone can provide some good explanations that would be great.

Thanks, this provides some explanations that make sense.
Someone I know always tries to give the killer one last hit before leaving, they view it as a nice thing to do because it gives the killer some blood points. Alot of people view that action as toxic though. that's one example.
one solution I have come up with is a competitive mode. in this mode there is no SWFS, random perks disabled for the week, no bringing in items, no person can use the same perk as someone else and double lobby time available, and stat showing for that week (would show escapes/deaths for both sides, high escape counts being good for survivor and high death counts being good for killer.) I hope that this at least would reduce toxicity by giving competitive player their own space.
