killer is not fun..
im really scared for july. this game is feeling more linear instead of abstract using strategic and tactics.
soon i fear not able to play but forcing me in a way they want me to play.
survivors already use endurance from hook to bodyblock when im chasing someone.. why? if i go after him he has decisive and calls me tunneler ez killer in end game chat. then leaving a survivor on ground will be gone in july too?
what am i suppose to do anymore as killer now? Im so tired man

I dont tunnel or slug and do fine. Just adjust your tactics and build so you dont need to rely on those methods as much. If you lose, then honeslty thats ideal because your mmr will drop and youll be in lobbies that are less sweaty

the devs said they’re going to buff things in the killers favor because there are no plans to move away from the 60% KR target. It’s okay to be skeptical, but I believe them.

It feels like you either have to play like a jerk with meta perks or just get stomped. Every chase has to be under 20 seconds. You have to get a hook if you do chase. You need to be find a survivor in under the next 30 seconds, repeat l.

There is no "proper" way to play, it depends on the killer being used, they're not all the same.

I'm excited for July. I don't tunnel or camp people except in egc. And it would be great if people didn't rely on poor game design to do well in their matches. That should allow BHVR to rebalance toward gameplay that's fun for both sides. I'll definitely be happy when survivor matches don't have someone proxy camp and tunnel and then pretend they did well when they play the rest of the match normally once they have a 3v1.

i say it and il say it again. Tunneling is the same as genrushing but one gets punished for doing so. (down vote me all you want its simply a fact)

That largely depends on individual perspective; however, on the whole, considering the extended wait times typically associated with playing as Killer, it is likely a significantly more enjoyable experience compared to playing as Survivor. The Survivor queue tends to be nearly instantaneous, which can likely be attributed to the relatively low number of players willing to endure the associated challenges and frustrations of that role.

It is not the same, for the sole reason that tunneling prevents one specific player from playing the game—genrushing doesn't.
It's not about the efficiency of the tactic; it's about the feelings of that particular player getting tunneled out. Did they have fun not playing the game and just spectating on a hook? Probably not.-2 -

I don't really trust their fixes after the 3 gen mechanic. They claim it would only affect troll killers who just camp gens and refuse to participate in the match by not doing chases or hooks, but it happens commonly on m1 killers not 3 gen camping because survivors know the no mobility killer can't afford to travel to far gens and they all just focus at the center of the map gens which means any surge hits and such are all hitting middle gens early which lock up the gens before the end of the match.
I don't personally tunnel or slug unless it's necessary (for example, survivors with power struggle and flipflop that go down at a pallet with their flashlight buddy nearby, the slug is mandatory), but if it's anything like the 3 gen solution, it'll start hurting killers that aren't going out of their way to tunnel and slug.

To be fair I play soloq now and then and I don't have any issues. It's rare I'm tunneled (I go prepared to handle it), it's rare I'm slugged for long periods of time. The only issue I have had recently has been constantly going against an OP ghoul. Other than that I don't see much of an issue. I have even found a way recently to handle the go nexters to my benefit. It's just unfortunate that survivor gameplay is generally boring (sitting on gens being the main objective) or I would happily play survivor more.

If someone doesnt want to be tunneled then they shoudnt heal under hook and bring anti tunneling perks just incase. Adapt overcome survive

Tell me that you only play one side without acually telling me that you only play one side.
Believe me, there are killers that do not care about you healing under the hook because they're already there when you're getting saved. Just waiting for you to start running, following you and patiently waiting 10s.0 -
