Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Permanent game mode

There should be a casual game mode that's permanent for new players or people that just want to play.

1.(Casual) No perks or items for either side. Just the base game. Solo Q would be less sweat. People could play however. It would incentivize players to use chests. Players have infinite items at some point and you just being your own. Would actually have value opening instead of gen rushing or losing value in solo by a random opening one.

2.(Casual or competive) All players use their base characters 3 perks and can pick a 4th universal perk(ones that all sides have regardless of characters owned). All perks are are the same tier for all sides.

3 Only include mmr on competive. Priorities matchmaking speeds on casual. Everyone just hops in. Maybe no party Q on casual either equal playing fields. Toy around with Blood point gain how you see fit.

That's my suggestion, maybe try it in the PTB? Oh and bring the PTB to console. For honor did it and they are Ubisoft. Don't lose to Ubisoft. Let me know what you think!

Solo Q would be a nightmare without perk, and MMR less matchmaking would be nightmare for new players

The problem with this idea is that when you divide the community the Queue time sucks for both camps, leading to more people quitting for the night, leading to longer queue times. if one side is insta queue alot less will play the other.

Ironically, you get the best Ranked Experience in Normal Queue when there is an Event going on.
