Wait... Pharmacy got giga buffed?!
Since when?? I just realised it is way better than I rememeber. 100% faster opening, pretty much silent and always give you green medkit and no need to be injured?? Sounds pretty good! Why nobody talk about this?

It was months ago. Not really seen or used probably cause just bring in a medkit instead and bring in a different perk.

Because med kits got nerfed, they had to buff pretty much everything else that the perk does. It's still quite bad.

It was a buff and a revert. Original Pharmacy granted an Emergency Medkit on first search, then with 6.1.0 they "buffed" the Perk, granting an Emergency Medkit on every search, but only when injured. This was seen as a Nerf by the community. Pharmacy was already a niche Perk, but having to be injured turned the Perk from quite convenient into some form of luck-based Perk, because you had to hope that there is an unopened chest and cannot just walk to any chest at the start anymore. Plus when you are injured you are most likely hooked and unhooked, so that someone else can heal you instead of you searching for a chest.
So while there were slight buffs in 8.4.0 (increase of noise suppression and a bit faster chest searching speed from 80% to 100%), the real buff was the revert of the Nerf they did before.

I wonder why medkit tiers don't buff speed of self healing even by a little like the add on tiers for healing speed.
Makes finding a medkit much less exciting LOL8 -
Wasn't that more of a thing with perk overhaul, which isn't exactly related to med kit nerfs?
I don't remember much

IMO Medkit-Tiers should be removed anyway. There is barely any difference between Medkit-Tiers. Before the Nerf, there was at least some difference:
Brown —> Good for one HealYellow —> A bit more charges
Green —> One heal, but really fast
Purple —> Charges for two heals
Nowadays the charges are all the same, but the Medkits differ slightly from each other with 5% of difference in Altruistic Healing Speed. And this is not enough for me to warrant having 4 Medkits.
IMO the Survivor-Bloodweb is in need of an Update for a long time since it features 3 times as many different Items than the Killer-Bloodweb and many are redundant due to Nerfs or Changes. And having 4 Medkits which are basically the same is just the tip of the iceberg.

Why would you waste a perk when you can just bring a medkit? This is why it's a bad perk. Inner Healing is better more underrated perk in that case.

Med kits sucks and it only take one lame Franklin's to gg it, I much rather use strength in shadows or hell even self care. Franklin's can't make those useless.
6 -
Partially, yes. It got changed in the perk overhaul, but it received further buffs afterwards.

I've always felt they sort of buffed it in the wrong way, myself.
Right now, it's actually really solid as a chest-support perk, to make searching them faster for things like Hardened, Specialist, Moment of Glory, that kind of thing. That would be really good if searching chests like that was itself worth it, but it isn't, really.
The problem is, the perk's supposed to be a healing perk, skewing towards self healing. It used to give you the only medkit that buffed self heal speed, after all. Even back then, though, despite the fact that the Emergency Medkit was wildly overpowered… you could bring one in yourself, so Pharmacy just wasn't worth the perk slot. Practically the only use it has is fooling Franklin's Demise, that's about it.
IMO, they should buff the way you heal with Pharmacy. I pitched a rework before that would have the perk give you a unique item that gave you a better heal, but it was more limited. That's a better direction to go in my opinion.

+1
There is absolutely no point bringing any other medkit than brown for self heals
6 -
Exactly its funny how am almost at 200 purples on my 3 p 100s, glory are the days when medkits were unique.
They may as well delete the other ones and keep the brown but put the 50% speed on from purple which again that heal speed is irrelevant since it only work if healing someone else with your medkit.
Edit= grammatical errors.

Maps, Keys, most of their add-ons, most Flashlight add-ons, offerings on both sides that are just useless…
Yeah, that checks out.

Exactly, the other meds are just a waste of space in bloodweb

IMO they need to introduce more things to distinguish the medkits
Purple medkit - give it a charge efficiency bonus while alturistic healing, making it strong for Medic builds by letting you get 3-4 full, fast alturistic heals off with a best in slot kit
Green medkit - reduce the amount of self-heal speed penalty. having a kit that can get you a self-heal a little faster would be good, though make sure it doesn't go back to how ridiculous self heal builds used to be. make it like 20 seconds instead of 24.
Yellow medkit - maybe more frequent skill checks and slightly more healing from greats? lemon kits didn't used to have their own identity, but it'd be cool to have something that distinguishes them from brown at the very least
Brown medkit - give it bonus BP on skill checks or something. if you've got a brown medkit you need the extra BP

Yeah, this would be the other option to make the Medkits feel unique and make them differ from each other. Either that or simply one Medkit. But having 4 Medkits which are basically the same is just lame and not needed.
Exactly. E.g. I think there is no need for green Maps or their Add Ons which let them track things other than Generators. Or almost all Flashlight-Add Ons. I think you can remove a lot of Add Ons and combine others, e.g. who would use the Key Add-On which grants Aura Read for Survivors inside 24m, when the Add On for 48m exists?
Offerings on both sides are also a thing. You dont need 4 Luck Offerings, one would be enough. You also dont need 4 Fog-Offerings which all do basically nothing, there should be 2, one which really thickens the Fog and one which thins the Fog (and the Fog should be more present anyway, but this is a different topic).

I been saying this for awhile and forever, I even made advise that of of survivor items/add ons make no sense/ Same for killer bp offerings . Add ons now for them well can't really suggest anything since that's a different thing for them.

Yeah, pretty much breaking even. If it was the old green medkit you'd always find, with faster healing to yourself and to teammates, then we'd be talkin'. But the way medkits work now, just bring in a good medkit and don't bother with chest searching time waste.
In fact, that could be a rework for the perk I'd recommend. Let people find the old green medkit out of the chests, and at the end of the trial they don't get to keep them. Otherwise old green medkits would essentially be back, and Quentin would become pay to play, in a way.

Pharmacy doesn't care about Franklins, and you can start with a toolbox

Sure that's a good point.

Would Pharmacy still be garbage if it also were to give extra benefits?
For ex. having Pharmacy and using a medkit grants gives 5% Haste after finishing a heal or while healing Exhaustion goes down 20% quicker?
