Kill Switch update: The Mastermind has been Kill Switched due to an issue with Virulent Bound. The Mastermind will be re-enabled once this issue is fixed.

The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Certain killers should be restricted from being assigned to specific maps.

This is not a typical complaint from a so-called 'entitled [insert role] main.' Instead, I intend to address a genuine issue that, to my knowledge, has yet to be properly acknowledged or discussed.

The fact that killers such as Hillbilly can be assigned to heavily cluttered indoor maps is highly detrimental to their performance and creates an extremely unfavorable and frustrating gameplay experience.

There should be a system in place to prevent such matchups, as leaving it entirely to random chance can effectively render a killer—who is designed around the strength of an instant-down mechanic—into a powerless and ineffective character.

I believe we should collectively strive to address issues such as these, which disproportionately impact older killers that have not been updated to meet the current standards of the game.

It is also important to acknowledge that this issue affects everyone. My main point is that certain maps are simply not compatible with every killer. Maps should primarily serve as a visual refresh or aesthetic enhancement, rather than becoming a decisive factor that predetermines the outcome of a trial—often within the first minute of gameplay.

I think the killer should be able to abandon in this situation or like when 3 gens are done at 1 hook

Are we going to restrict stealth killers to just indoor maps next?

We should bear in mind they sprinkle in some strong rng into their Tim Horton's every shift! 🤪

I would like to see some sort of further options for Killers to freely be able to forfeit in situations that really are just not winnable, but I think variety of maps is fine. Like, I know not every map as Dredge will be good with lockers; I still play Dredge fine.

Really we need to have more wincons, so when these inevitable bad matchups you're bound to lose badly happen, you don't feel like you have to sweat just for a few hooks to a 2k. I don't like sweating. I don't think anyone does.

I don't think this is needed but if I believed in any conspiracy at all it would be that BHVR sends you to these maps on purpose whenever you're playing any of these killers, because what do you mean that whenever I try to play Blight or Billy I get immediately sent to Lery's? One time I got Lery's THRICE IN A ROW as Blight, no offerings no anything just sheer bad luck. I thought BHVR's map repetition system prevented this lol

Anyway, I think it's fair that you can be sent to unfavorable maps every now and then. Even if my luck sucks lol

You just can't do stuff like this. You can't stop people from bringing certain perks together, nor items, nor killer/survivor - map combinations, etc. You're taking away literal gameplay. And that recent Ghoul change where he loses his power for breaking pallets is in the same vein. You can't make exceptions to limiting gameplay. It's a horrible precedent.

At first I thought this topic was about restricting stronger/faster killers from being played on tiny maps like Lampkin Lane or Forgotton Ruins. Survs already struggle against Blight and Billy and Kaneki, and having to play against them on the aforementioned maps is brutal.

But OP wants to make it so Billy and Blight, who don’t need any help, ALSO don’t play on indoor maps? Newsflash OP: every killer power is less effective on indoor maps. Try playing Pinhead and having your chains break constantly due to the walls and doorways, now that’s powerless. Blight and killers like him do NOT need any help.
